Timalloy. I worked with Willie Pettigrew back in the early 70s when he worked in the Civil Service as well. He was class player.

I always thought petigrew was a fantastic player, socks rolled down and played with a swagger.

Yes I did. I worked in TRS for a while and then went over to the old building at the back. Willie Pettigrew would sometime come out to the pitches for a kick about at lunchtime. K. Dalglish wife Marina worked there as well.

It's a small world right enough. I was in Cowglen from '73 to '80 - mostly in DRB. I also remember Kenny Dalglish's (future) wife Marina worked in the 'Old Bank' around that time as well.

Celtic Mad. It was DRB I worked in. I started Nov 70.I used to work out the interest on the old P. O accounts and do do cheques to 3rd parties etc. I moved to the old buildings before moving to Social office on Pollokshaws Rd. Played football for Cowglen for a few years in Civil Service league.

Guys we all must have worked near each other back then I sarted in the old building just a series of portacabins then moved to the main building, I worked with about 60 girls and 3 guys in the data processing department, yes I remember Marina being a nice pleasant quiet girl, and if you worked with Pettigrew he had his moments, not all sunshine but he was a really good footballer.

There was a few good footballers in cowglen. Gordon Smith was at Beith and Tommy Yuill was at Arbroath that I remember.

I worked with Tommy a good bloke and he was better than Arbroath.
