Kyogo said he wanted to move to a recognised league.

What does that say for our league.

Agree0 Disagree0

All the Top European B leagues get more TV revenue than the Scottish league.
Tells its own story really.

Nothing we didn't already know. ?.

We have always been the poor relations as on top of having far too many football clubs for a very small country, the television revenue and other investment is a pittance compared to other leagues.
Our football associations are also very small minded and insular with a history of self-serving agendas and uneven playing fields and I'm not talking about Easter Road. Our own club may also be guilty of lacking ambition and I will not even mention 5 way agreements. Oops I mentioned it! Celtic are currently a huge fish in a murky puddle.

So he went to a team who’ve lost 5 on trot and sit 16th out 18 teams, loved wee guy but think he could do better and there’s no doubt he’s let us down with cl game still to go . Unless he knew he wasn’t starting against villa but I doubt that, letting us down doesn’t take away the cup final goals and derby goals so good luck to him, but onwards as he will be replaced.

I think Kyogo could have elaborated about why he chose a struggling French team over the most successful team in SPL . However Kyogo may be too big a gentleman to explain fully all the reasons to go .
It is a given that the very poorly maintained plastic pitch (es) and state of pitches in general are not conductive to good and enjoyable football, linked to state of pitches is the progressive deteriorating weather year on year in Scotland leading to poor winter conditions for most of season . Enjoyment scarce playing in freezing cold, rain and gale force winds . To top it all off refs and officials find it exceptionally difficult to give Celtic fair play .
In all honesty, although we like our top players to stay for most of their careers Kyogo did well to last three and a half yrs without a public murmur of discontent against Celtic our Board., Manager and fellow players.

Celtic Mad, that's why I'd never blame KT, BR etc for going to bigger and better things. You want to see if you can cut it in a better league and go in against top sides in the world. Doesn't make you less of a Celtic man. I'd do the same if it was me tbh.

Says nothing about Celtic. If it wasn’t for our great club Kyogo wouldn’t get his move elsewhere.

People give Taylor n Scales rubbish constantly but scared to say a bad word about Kyogo. Most protected Celtic player I’ve seen. Sitter after sitter n he’s still the messiah lol.

I doubt if Kyogo didn’t have at least some say in his transfer to Rennes . It would have to be somewhere from 1% to 100% Kyogo ‘s decision . Kyogo had still some time left on his contract and certainly his agent wouldn’t let Celtic bully him into joining a club he didn’t want .
I don’t think Celtic would even try.
