On this date 20 years ago,
Celtic beat Rangers 2-1 in an early Scottish Cup tie and we went on to lift the trophy.
Celtic were leading 1-0 at halftime with a Chris Sutton goal.
This was one of the few times that Rangers attacked the Celtic end in the 2nd half and Ricksen equalised at the start of that 2nd half, whilst the Celtic fans were singing YNWA with our scarfs raised.
No harm was done because Big Hartson scored the winner with 13 minutes remaining.

It’s not a fair comparison until BR leaves us ( for 2nd - 3 rd time ) as only after a manager is gone can we fully assess his full ability . We know all trophies he has won and we know if he had any failures throughout his whole time .
Martin ONeil had by far the best team . His team was full of big strong skilful footballers and probably only our goalkeepers that BR had would. be certain of their place in Martin’s team.
