Just my opinion but on the first of BR criticism of the fans he talking out his arse.
Basically saying the fans haven't got a clue about football, starting an argument out of nothing.
I was there and yes there was moaning but tbh we were playing crap. like we have done for a good few weeks.
He sits sometimes in the press conference and you just know he thinks he's above the league and the club.
Would he have went in on the fans when he was in England. Not a chance.
He has started a fight with the fans out of absolutely nothing.
As for singing the kt song. Get a grip.
Maybe this is the start of him working his ticket out.
Because he knows he crossed the line and he knew what he was saying would cause a storm. and for what reason.
Maybe he should dip into his millions and pay the fans back that went to Germany and watch his team play with his tactics get embarrassed.

With no support in the stadium last Thursday, I think it's safe to say there was some frustration at the no-show and defeat carried over from Sevco game. Therefore, when the team seemed to be coasting in second gear side-to-side, it got supporters demanding more.

Jungle John, maybe BR was annoyed because he feels Celtic have done exceptionally well this season so far, only one lost domestically and one lost in Champions League . He may have always felt some of our so called fans have often been very quick to abuse and ridicule GT and he is worried they are responsible for chasing him into leaving. Obviously Brendan wants Greg to stay, as he is trying to build a squad, not just replace a player by another who may or may not improve squad. BR wants fans to encourage and build confidence in the team who in almost every game is getting a result .
He knows that no matter how good they are and how much they try they can’t be highly entertaining all the time. We all have to play a part. Like every club we will go through a bad spell and if fans think players aren’t trying or are not interested then they have a right to let these players know how they feel, it would certainly fans responsibility to let them be in no doubt the fans weren’t happy.

"So called fans"who are you or who is anyone to discredit a fan for booing, cheering, standing or sitting.
Even for fans who can't make the games for whatever reason, they have every right to do support or act in whatever sensible way they like.
It's got nothing to do with how well the team are doing, he was spoiling for a fight.

Brendan is deliberately as he does in press conference s when asked about rangers etc delivering exactly the answer he wants to and knows exactly how things will be perceived, he had a bash at fans yesterday using words like panic instead of frustration, no one was panicked and he knows it, everyone was pissed off and frustrated at how he is allowing a team who where flying to regress, he used his last rue good game against Brugge as an example of the ball being recycled to create a goal, the difference was Brugge aren’t st mirren, also meada was the one who recycled it against Brugge so the team took the steps to get the ball forward before choosing to recycle, yesterday and far too often it’s Johnstone taylor or cbs doing the recycling rather the forward pass the whole stadium can see, he’s a great manager, I think his comments yesterday where more about creating a similar narrative to last season when we where dropping points that people are talking the team down including the fans and it’s up to them after a poor defeat to rangers to turn opinion, where a few weeks away from our biggest champions league night in years and as it happens might be the easiest one in a while, is he feeling the pressure a bit, which is ok as I’m hoping he is so no stone unturned, kt thing I don’t mind but it’s a bit ridiculous of a set of fans to sing players name that doesn’t play for us, it’s not disrespectful to taylor just as it’s not disrespectful for Greg to want to play elsewhere if he chooses to, fact is lb has been a problem for a while that has continually not been addressed, kt if he manages to play games is undoubtedly a better player than Greg so I don’t any issue with the signing, if gets injured and doesn’t play then id accept humble pie in my face as would anyone that doesn’t want him if came back and delivered .

Jungle John, not all fans know football mate, I like to think I know a lot about the game and I do but not in the way Brendan Rodgers does and part of his job is to look after his players so if he feels that fans are targeting one of his players he has the right to call it out, bottom line is Greg Taylor is a Celtic player, at this moment in time KT isn’t, Greg always gives 100% in every match and has been a good player for the club but like every footballer can have an off day, listen I’d love us to sign KT back and Greg to stay so we have 2 good left backs because Alex Balle will not be here next season and there’s nothing we can do about it because Barcelona don’t want to sell him, so let’s get behind the team and Brendan and push on to another treble, I trust Brendan and the team to achieve that with the help of a cuppla signings ?.

The fans singing about kt has got nothing to do with Taylor until BR made an issue of it.
The biggest disrespect shown to Taylor is the club wanting a better left back. and giving him what must be a crap contract offer or if reported he wants to stay then he would have signed it.

Agree 100% JJ. As for fans chasing GT away as posted in response? He and the club can't reach agreement on a contract, that has bugger all to do with the fans. If he is that important a player BR would be intervening and making the club pay him top dollar to stay. He hasn't and this stinks to me of deflection.

How can we know fans singing K T had nothing to do with G T . We certainly have no idea of the offer club has made to GT . Fans carry no responsibility advocating any player for us to sign . If he signs and fails to meet expectations, fans walk away with head in air while Board especially can remind manager.
