Two worrying CL scenarios for Celtic

We are currently in 21 st position with 5 big team just one or two points behind us, if 4 of them win their two remaining games we are OUT, if we lose both our games

Maybe even worse is scenario by one of the "super computers" Celtic finish in 21 st place and a) we are unseeded and b) our opponents are likely to be AC Milan or Juventus or Athletico Madrid or Real Madrid GULP

We have Young Boys next who are in dreadful form and we should be favourites. But Celtic were favourites both against Bruges and Belgrade and failed to win

To avoid the scenarios above we MUST beat Young Boys.

Watching the highlights show and it reaffirms my concerns that we do not have enough CL quality middle-to-front to seriously compete and score against many of the teams around and above us.
That's not taking anything away from what Celtic have achieved this season as I believe we are improving and are making progress.
We've learned from mistakes and definitely tightened up defensively and if we keep improving the squad as we have done, who knows?

Celtic have got nothing to worry about.

Those 5 clubs -
Stuttgart play PSG
PSG also play Man City who are also one of those 5 clubs.
Zagreb play Arsenal and AC. Milan,
And PSV play Liverpool.

I feel we are 3/ 4 top quality players away from having a starting 11 that's good enough to challange the top clubs.
Lb to replace taylor
Am to replace hatate
Cf to replace kyogo
Lw to at least challange maeda.

Kyogo and idah have only 2 goals between them so far. that's very poor and worrying going forward. Kyogo hasn't been scoring enough since ange was in charge. Not just on them though, when you have hatate honking 3 out of 4 matches.

We may beat the top teams from the big 5 leagues on occasion but it is highly unlikely that we will ever challenge them due to the large gulf in class and finances.

Scenario is simple. If we don't beat YB at parkhead then we deserve to be pumped out Europe altogether. No way to sugar coat that.

It doesn’t matter how Celtic Qualify.
If we DO manage to Qualify, then we’ve deserved it.

There’s 25 clubs in the CL table that’s currently lost more matches than Celtic.

Celtic are a hard team to beat although only Dortmund would disagree but we have worked very hard to make sure we finish in the Top 24.
I have absolutely no doubts that we will Qualify.

Remember guys we are work in progress as far as Europe goes, and to have lost only one game in six champion league games represents good progress for me… we will beat the Swiss boys and qualify, more progress. Next season we then have a benchmark to surpass to demonstrate continued progress ?.

Harsh but fair kipper. Progress is measured by points not performances.
