The starting lineup last night was the same team that beat Sevco 3-0 with the exception of Trusty/ Scales.

Celtic only made 4 subs that day with Engels, McCowan, Forrest and Idah.

I'm expecting a hard game after hearing Beaton and Muir are officiating but I still think Celtic have too strong a team and squad.

Although I agree we have a very settled selection and formation, BR needs to name his strongest (in form) starting eleven as we need everyone to be up for the challenge and the circumstances.

We need to perform better than last night and can't give them the chances hibs had, they have improved the last we while so need to be on it.

Who would make your in form 11 onceabhoy? Because at the minute kyogo maeda and hatate are certainly not in form. I don't think there will be much suprise in the starting 11 for Sunday I just hope the players repay the managers faith and put in a performance.

I think a hampden final will ensure all the lads turn up. whether off form or not. I only see 1 position up for grabs and that's in midfield. Since McGowan is cup tied BR will want to ensure his subs can make an impact if required, so I think Engles will get the nod in midfield possibly because Bernardo has made excellent impacts off the bench previously. I also think BR sees Idah and forrest as having an impact that's why Kyogo will also start.

Dc; With only 2 striker options I would have to stick with Kyogo who has a good record against Sevco, with Idah on from the bench.
My main concern is with Hatate because you never know what you're going to get and last night he was ineffective and careless in possession. Plus maybe - Engels who is yet to settle and show his best form. therefore; McCowan and Bernardo who have been consistent, when played would be my preference.
Not sure if AJ will be fit but if not he would be a big loss as he has linked up very well with Khun this season in several attacks.

{Ed007's Note - McCowan is cup-tied OAB.}

I think kyogo will start as well OAB. I'd start mcgregor bernardo and engels as my midfield 3 but won't be surprised to see hatate start. As a wildcard I'd be tempted to start yang ahead of maeda but that will never happen. As long as we win that's all that matters in cup finals.

Dci agree with most of your comments. the 3 amigos you mentioned haven't performed well recently with Maeda particularly looking like an absolute novice at times. The last few games celtic seem to have run out of ideas, especially up front. Hope it's only a temporary glitch.

Cheers Ed; I forgot about McCowan.
