Really enjoyed Saturday, some of the goals in the first half were superb. And McCowan is equally deserving of a start as Engels or Bernardo, as far as I’m concerned any 3 of 5 will be comfortably good enough to win any game in Scotland. Second half was exactly what we needed, a pure rest, no pressure at all, unlucky not to get a couple more but no big deal.

Next 12 days could be massive. We might book our place in CL playoff, win a trophy and go net 10 points ahead of second place, that makes for a good Xmas!

Being my local boy its great to see McCowan doing well, av a wee sneaky feeling he might get a we bit more game time after that performance but God only knows why he isn't starting for Scotland.

Our midfield has strength in depth.
Under Ange we had Calmac, Hatate, O’Riley, Turnbull and Mooy.

I liked Mooy but our current midfield depth looks stronger.

Troy, I'm from your neck of the woods, although it's a few decades since I graced the luscious cinder pitches of the Wellington / broomhill/ Pete Rd etc. Still got the scars! Regarding Luke, I raved about him on this forum several months ago when he played for Dundee v THEM and hoped that the Tim's would go after him, because he gave 100%and I was confident the celtic supporters would take to him.

Troy Broomhill was our home patch for St Columbas juveniles. My most vivid memory of it? Years later picking the "turf" out of my legs with tweezers and a darning needle.
