Checking the fixtures and we have games right through Dec -Feb, so I assume it could be there is no winter break due to all the previous International breaks.

Cheers guys, I thought I was seeing things when I looked at fixtures as I had not realised it was cancelled. ?

The winter break was probably cancelled due to January scheduled European games in the CL and Europa League this season.
Last season we started back up on January 27th and that would be a disadvantage to our clubs who have European games to play.
Previously the European knockout games wouldn’t take place until February which would allow time for a Winter break in January.
I’m not sure about this season but usually Germany and many other Countries had a winter break.
