Is AJ arguably the best right back we've had?
Appreciate he had a down turn in form last year but he's kicked on and looks like the future captain to me. He absolutely loves the Celtic.
4 goals and 5 assist this season! Outstanding.
{Ed007's Note - Aw come on, KLE - it's bad enough the Kyogo is the best since Larsson patter without this one getting thrown about. Danny McGrain, Jackie McNamara, Lustig and you could even throw Tom Boyd into the mix as like McGrain he was comfortable on either side.
Let's wait until AJ has been here a bit longer before throwing some of our greats & legends under the bus, if he can continue playing the way he is over the next season or 2 then yes we can start talking about him in those terms.}

Danny was the best full back I've ever seen. loved Jackie and big tam who also could adapt but I'd maybe just have him ahead of lustig but the hig man was consistent over a long period so we'll have to wait.

Celtic have been spoiled in the right back position over the years.
Danny was past his best when I watched him but he was known as World Class at his best.
Boyd, Jackie, Agathe, Lustig and Juranovic were all Celtic class and the same can be said about Johnston.
I’m sure Johnston will become a Celtic legend if he sees out his contract.

Danny the best by far. He shone even in European games and World cups.

Big joe filipi the best slide tackler in the world.

I don't think we will ever see players as good as mcgrain and gemmel in the fullback positions again.

So arguably he’s one of the best we’ve had?
We’ve had 100s of right backs and out of all of them 3 or 4 get a mention as better than AJ.
Totally Agree about Danny McGrain and McNamara. Lustig and Boyd is up for debate.
The Kyogo vs Larsson debate is mad I agree. We’ve had 5+ better strikers than Kyogo since Larsson. Dembele, Edouard, Griffiths, McDonald, Hooper to name a few. But I don’t think we’ve seen a RB better than AJ on his day since McNamara.
Time will tell and think he will be in the conversation personally.

Does Chris Morris come into the equation? I'm not talking about being the best but was a quality RB during the centenary year.
