Can't wait for the Hearts and Bruges games over the next six days.

I feel confident of two wins to consolidate the league position and almost certainly guarantee a place in the champions league playoffs at least.

Thoughts guys?

These enforced breaks can interrupt our momentum although we have been in great form recently and the players will be keen to carry on where they left off. The late KO is another pain in the arse but again we are used to tackling the random fixture computer, Manipulative SLY TV scheduling as well as our opponents.

Momentum is so key in the timing of matches. We were on fire and then you have to smoulder a while before you can re-ignite. Brendan is the guy who'll strike the match for us and stoke the flames. Wishing it was Dec 15th to roast Secvco.

Aberdeen next three games away st mirran hibs hearts then us at Pittodrie. can't see them winning all the away games so we have to hit the ground running after the international break and open up a gap before we meet them.

Historically no great fter theses breaks but hearts are not in great form and we should be taking the 3 points.

I’m a bit worried about playing our 3 Japanese players on Saturday after their horrendous travelling in the last week.

Although they didn’t have much playing time,
They had to endure 3 flights which totalled about 40 hours each on International duty for Japan.

Yeah like some have said always wary after international break, especially some of the travel some of our players have.

I’m not worried about the league it’ll take care of itself, and while we may draw or lose the odd game I expect us to be out of sight by February.

As for champions league, 4 points from next 3 games seals top 24 by all accounts. So a draw against Brugge not the end of the word.

Buzz with the game being at Tynecastle and the tighter pitch I think Brendan will start Idah with Kyogo on bench, we also have quality midfielders to replace Hatate and even Maeda I would have on bench as Kuhn and even Palma could start.
The Japanese players will probably arrive back sometime Friday, so jet lag usually kicks in 24 hours later, so all three should be used sparingly.

I agree Tim,
Maybe start them on the bench, which will help keep the trio fresher for Tuesday.

Tim,
Palma also had approximately 30 hours flight time in the last week on International duty.
I would start with Khun and Forrest.
