Even the SPFL are at it
The Aberdeen manager got manager of month for his team being "unbeaten" in the league.
Er is there not a manager who is unbeaten in ALL DOMESTIC competions
who deserved this more.

Saw that Tim, an absolute joke but not surprising, the SPFL are hurting because they cannot give an award to baldy so the next best are the sheep and heir Manaer, as long as it isn't BR nd Celtic.
We are dragging the coefficient up in Europe and unbeaten at home but in their eyes we should be leading as we have more money, so as the sheep havelessmoney the are doing better.
I suppose Brendan will have to behappy with a cabinet full of proper trophies.
{Ed007's Note - It's Manager of the Month for October and for the league only, so who had a better run in October, a Celtic manager that threw away a 2 goal lead at home or the manager who's team was 2-0 down against the champions and fought back for a 2-2 draw?
European matches don't count, cup games don't count and to those bringing up the cup semi final - that was in November.

Who cares about motm it's a load of mince.

Personally i think he deserves it.
{Ed007's Note - Me too PP, the draw against us was us dropping points at home and them grabbing a vital away point at Celtic Park, who had the better result in that game? Then when you throw in their defeat of TRIFC and I really don't know why Thelin winning it has upset so many people.}

ED007 in my opinion, and it is only an opinion, MOTM should be about the best TEAM performance over the 4 weeks.
Who was the better team Celtic or Aberdeen
We also had difficult CL games Aberdeen did not, so they were fresher and had more time to prepare, yet Celtic were still top.
Also my other point, which is why others are upset, is that the SPFL always look to ignore Brendan, especially when the Sevco manager is pants and they cannot award him, is to look at another manager, ANY manager except Celtic manager.
{Ed007's Note - Rodgers won it for September, and twice last season - the same as Clement and the same as McInnes.}

Ed your getting soft, i bet if it was baldys team you won't be so defensive??.
{Ed007's Note - I wouldn't care a jot if Jaap Bam won it - and neither would Brendan Rodgers - but it's just common sense that the team who has had the best run of results in the leagues' manager gets the MOTM award, and for October that was Aberdeen - that's an undeniable fact.
We dropped 2 points at home and Aberdeen came from 2-0 down to take a point up the road and then they beat the team in 3rd spot to extend their lead over them.
What did Celtic/Rodgers do to shine out in October, we won games we are expected to win and threw away a 2-0 lead at home, we beat Dundee, Ross County and Motherwell so why should Rodgers have won it, and if not Thelin who should have got it?
Maybe some people don't understand how the MOTM is decided - if Celtic draw tomorrow and have a good month that draw against us would probably be enough to get McInnes in with a shout this month, there needs to be results/performances that go against the grain and stand out.}

Thats pretty much where i was coming from. Noone would have had them performing as they are and maintaining it. he's recruited well and is getting the maximum out of his players week in and out. They effectively won that draw while we consider it points dropped.
