We have a shocking record against German teams in European competition. We have won only 4 times out of 27 games (14% win rate) with 5 draws and 18 defeats.
RB Leipzig finished above Dortmund last season and currently sit 4 points ahead of them, second only to Bayern in the Bundesliga.
This is our 2nd toughest game of the group stage, no question. I don't expect us to get anything tonight, anything we do get is a bonus. Our 3 games hence are what will make or break our campaign, Young Boys and Zagreb are our best chances to reach the 10 point mark.
Last thought, RB Leipzig along with other corporate or state owned clubs are everything that's wrong with football. Alongside PSG, Man City etc they have no place in real football, plastic clubs built on whims with no history and no future once the bubble bursts.
Mon the Hoops!

I would happily take a draw but Leipzig don’t often draw in European games.
Leipzig have only drawn 2 of their last 22 European matches.
It’s a good shout for both teams to score.
Both teams have scored in our last 5 CL home games and the same for Leipzig’s last 5 CL away matches.
I mentioned in a earlier thread, that Celtic have only won 1 match against German opposition in our last 16 meetings but it was a home victory against Leipzig.

Celtic win, both teams scoring, Kyogo anytime.

I want a win but would settle for a point against a top quality side. They will go for it tonight as they have zero points which hopefully leaves spaces for us to exploit.

for me its doable and a must win if were want to do anything in eruope. this is a game wee should be looking to win were at home and a far bigger club than them.

We have beaten them before we are capable of competing in my opinion and we shouldn't be expecting anything but a win at home irregardless of the pedigree.

Leipzig have a few out with injuries. Confidence has never been higher.
2-2 and I will be delighted.
