Just wondering with the Commonwealth games in 2 years, is there a wee opportunity for Celtic to work with the Games organisers for them to part fund any hotel at Celtic Park?

Who will stay in this hotel? Tourists? Prob not. Supporters coming to the game on buses? No. Why stay in it if you can stay in city centre hotel? I just fail to see the market for a hotel outside Celtc park.

Thwre must ve a fair few from Irepand and further afield that would stay a night on matchdays. Those going to the Emirates Arena. Warmer months there's stuff on Glasgow Green. Business trips and contractors would stay there if the price is right. If it is a goer we'll have had consultants doing the market research.

Great idea and if it gave the club an extra revenue stream it would be rammed on natch days especially overseas fans ie Ireland. you can get taxis and trains that's not an issue. Xmas party nights and the like I think it's a no brainer brainer.

It would be a no brainer to those who travel great distancs to watch the team.
Also would be available for conferences and maybe weddings i presume.
