Is this McCowan rumour real Ed? I really like the boy we all know he won't start but he's a good footballer and likes the dirty side of the game too I think he would be a good addition to the team and he's a Tim. Your input is alway appreciated mate ?.

Never seen him play. Is he any good?
{Ed007's Note - He seems to split opinions and some fans aren't even giving the lad a chance but I like him and see it like a Barry Robson or Paul Hartley type of signing but McCowan is 4 years younger than those 2 were when we signed.
McCowan is more than capable of coping with the SPFL and under Rodgers who knows how much he will kick on.

If it's true and we get it over the line, i will be very happy, because Celtic compete on every level for trophies and success and as well as having a history of injuries in midfield in recent years, we could do with more options and opportunities to rest players. BR obviously sees potential that he can develop to suit all concerned.

Could always offer Holm out on loan to them aswell, could work well for both.

That would work steve for me. Holm needs to be showing what can be done. McCowan could go in the direction Armstrong went. That would be ideal.

As av mentioned b4 didn't play to well against us but if he signs he won't b playing against us??♂️cant see were he wojld fit in mb give CM a rest now and again.

Just had a look of his stats. He played 36 games 40 games and 41 games in the last 3 years. Not injury prone. Seems like a grafter as Ed said in the midfield. Good squad addition. We have good midfield options with Calmac Hatate Engles Holm Bernardo.

He's technically very good. Looks to play forward, can drive with the ball, good in tight spaces, makes good decisions and great left peg. Could he be Callum's long term successor or at least his cover if injured etc. He's certainly better than most people will give him credit for and he will surprise the doubters who think cos he plays for Dundee He's not worthy.

I think McCowan is the nearest thing I've seen to Billy Bremner. Got a feeling the celtic support will really take to him. Peejee.
