Today's presser was very intriguing. Rodgers once again dropping some subtle (or not so subtle) that he's still peeing into the wind at times. He seems frustrated but not defeated.

I thought that was extremely telling. However I still hold out hope that we'll do some impressive business before the deadline. In fact, I'll stick my neck on the block and say I'm confident.

I am to Kev, we will bring in a LB, CB and 2 Midfielders.
I honestly think Nicolson's job could be on a very shoogely peg if Brendan is pissed off at the end of this window.

Said earlier that he knew exactly what he was coming back to and after the shambolic 'window' of last summer, must have known that things may even had got worse when it came to transfers.
The Board have handled certain aspects very well, like contract extensions to important players and trying to clean-up the mess of having an over-inflated squad full of 'not quite good enough'.
However the fact they were signed in the first place is as much a negative as the recurring theme this season of dithering and failing to address key positions - after the season had started.
I'm sure like the support, BR needs more than SPL and cups to push himself and would like a decent European run on top of domestic trophies. This would or could attract better players with the money generated and the publicity gained. However, I fear our Board do not share the same ambitions and hopes as the rest of us?

Don't see any significant signings coming in unfortunately hope I'm wrong but we've been here many times before!

I said on podcast last week the CEO and board were in a more precarious position than Rodgers who appears to have Desmond’s ear and to be in total control thank goodness he’s here.
If the board fail him again this window I think they’ll go down the road before him and he looks as if he knows that. If he wasn’t here we’d be Friar Tucked.

We can’t really ask more of BR. He’s honest clear and concise and is a Celtic man through and through.
I won’t judge this window until it closes as it’s the only time we can evaluate the business that has been done. Personally I can’t see us not bringing in 3/ 4 players.
We need improvement in a few positions but surely to Feck we will sign a LB. Taylor has been playing near enough every game for years. There is no excuse not to unless Anderson was ready but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

BR must be well pleased with what we have got in so far and up to now holding on to everyone we need . Good to see Kyogo all nonsensical talk and probably Hatate as well .2 or 3 more in and we should be happy.
