Guys, need to say this. We all know that MOR will go with our best wishes and a nice profit in the pot. Kyogo. hmmmmm.29 with a dodgy shoulder? All I am saying is that a bid of £15m would have me seriously tempted. Get in a younger boy with the same hunger K had when he joined. Just may not be enough time in the window. Do people think that's why BR was trying Maeda through the middle? Could we get by with Adam, Maeda and a project until Jan? Not ideal. But who knows?

I get your point celticmad73, for me wether folk think he's worth it or not, if man city are serious about kyogo then we demand no less than £25 million. he's under a long contract, so if city want him and the club are willing to accept an offer then a fee starts there. you mention not a long time left in the window? well if the club don't feel they can replace the likes of oriely and kyogo its very simple, don't sell. what's the point in selling our best players when we can't replace them? what's the point n putting more multi millions in the bank just for it sit there so the books look even more impressive than they already do? And do we really want to be sitting waiting on another transfer window to come around hoping we can do more business? Weve done very little this window in terms of incomings in certain key areas as it is.

At the end of last season I thought given his age and contract that he could get sold. This late 8n the window, IF Man City are serious, then it needs to be serious money for us to get a proper CL level striker in.

Can't believe anyone would contemplate selling Kyogo. He's one of if not our best player. If he goes any replacement will be nowhere near as good as we'd have to spend a bunch of pounds to get one.

“Trust the process”
And that’s sell at peak value.
Kyogo’s value will continue to decrease after this window unless he signs a contract extension.
I would have no problem selling Kyogo in this window but I just wish we had signed Miovski alongside Idah, as Kyogo and OH’s replacements.

It's alright selling them for mega money and well done the board if they hold out for top money, however replacements should be in before departures, we are too big a club to accept last minute transfer frenzy and inflated prices based on sales, kyogo will be very hard to replace but is replaceable, this is why the head of recruitment role was vital at start of the summer.

Talented, quality players have left Celtic for as long as I remember, some a lot more valuable on the pitch then others.
The Bosman rule and the introduction of these transfer windows compounded things 10-fold and causes no end of dilemmas and pressure. Timing has to be managed perfectly and although some transfers are right out of the blue, the club has to have the foresight and planning to counteract any outgoings, preferably with incoming players in place to offset the balance. Especially when the team is enjoying the best of form, with harmony and efficiency.
In other words buy well before any imminent sale, or you lose the faith of the manager, the squad and the support.

I’d understand if Kyogo had the opportunity to go to City but if that move doesn’t materialise then I’d keep him for the rest of his career.
