We keep getting promised "2/ 3 signings" from the Board apologists on here, and we keep being told by same people "these transfers take time"
Can these people please explain then how the EPL teams, Spanish, French, German teams etc can all conclude transfers in one to two DAYS
Medical one day, signed the next yet our Board meander along at a snails pace.

Linked with a polish midfielder plays in the states Hope it's not a cheap option over Engle.10 days left and still taking an age to do business.

Hi all hope you are well
Just because we are linked in the media with a player doesn't mean we actually are. So what might seem like snail pace is actual because we aren't in for them. I think idah was different as Norwich rightfully looked after their interests for a higher fee the way we are doing with MOR.
The market is only really starting to heat up, I'd still expect us to recruit, and will hold off getting angry or panicking until the window closes to see what we have.
If MOR Hetate and kyogo do go, that's prob around 70m for three players. That's amazing business for us if we reinvest again. There would be little excuse for no hotel or stadium expansion then.
Keep the faith.

Then the clubs see we have the money and hold out for more.

Dr Phil , I’m not sure if you misread the room but I’d be surprised if any fans would want a hotel over the best team possible on the pitch. Even Roger’s has said the fans deserve the best, if money is put towards a hotel at the expense of the first team, there would be a struggle for the rooms to be filled. Fans would eventually turn their back on them and the top tier would be shut again. The board need removing, end of. We are a football club not a tourist excursion, leave that day tripper crap to the epl.

I agree Dr Phil.
There’s probably little chance that Celtic will Qualify for 3 consecutive CL campaigns again for a very long time.
I would use money to build a Hotel and that will give Celtic an extra income for generations to come.
21 Aug 2024 15:53:33
Extra income is great for business, but 99% of the support look at league tables, team sheets and upcoming attractive fixtures before they turn to the stock market page.
We have a top manager and can (more than) afford to supply him with a decent squad to entertain the support and be successful.
Our priority should be the clue on the badge 'Celtic Football Club'.
21 Aug 2024 16:36:07
Obviously if we’ve got greater income from our Hotel,
Those league tables should look impressive for generations to come.
Celtic won’t always have this soon to be a massive 9 figure financial gap over our Ibrox rivals.
I just hope we spent wisely, which will continue to give us a larger turnover for the next generation/ generations to come.

Buzz, have we ever seen what type of income this hotel would generate? Would it be geared towards supporters staying over after a match? Is it for tourists in general? I stay in Glasgow occasionally at one of the city centre hotels and not often they are full. Might be wrong but I'm not aware of any other club that generates money from a hotel they own. I personally see absolutely zero point in a hotel.
21 Aug 2024 21:17:21
Hey all,
Quinn I meant, with the dough already in the bank, the cl money on the way and potential big dough if these three players go, we could do all three, hotel, upgrade stadium say an upper tier on sw corner, and buy replacements.
Revenue from hotel and bigger capacity, would be brilliant, and we would still have quality on park.
21 Aug 2024 22:00:40
Would rather increase the capacity to 75000 in prep for euro league in the future. with the waiting list it would be full.
22 Aug 2024 05:43:49
Timalloy, I must apologise as I'm one of these board apologists that you are gibbering about. I must really annoy you
I'm stunned that you know exactly the workings of every club in these leagues to claim that they only take 2 days to make all there signings, maybe you should share exactly how the manage to get all these negotiations done so quickly.
On the matter of how many players these teams have all made, Celtic have signed 4 players So Far compaired to
Arsenal - 2 (1 of which was a loan from last year) for 76m Euros
Crystal Palace - 3 (1 free transfer) 30m E
Everton - 4 (1 loan) 50m E
Fulham - 3 (1 free) 38m E
Liverpool - 0
Man C - 1 25m E
Man U - 4 164m E
Newcastle - 5 (2 free transfers 1 of was John Ruddy) 68m E
Spurs - 4 144m E
So all these Big teams have had the same amount of time as us and managed to get all these players, oh wait most have signed the same amount as us or less.
I think you will probably notice how much these teams are throwing at clubs and players for what I would say are mostly bang average players.
