Looked like kyogo popped his shoulder yesterday. and yet we continue to gamble having one striker when we should probably have a minimum 3.

I was very concerned when I saw him going down. Let's hope it isn't a recurrence of his previous injury or we are screwed.

Felt for the wee fella yesterday as he got very little service after the first chance that led to the opener. He also took a few hard challenges, but our officials are giving him no protection and in most cases no free kicks either. He did look really dejected when he had to go off and whether it's the system or lack of confidence, he's not the same player of two seasons ago. Wouldn't want him to leave, but we really need another striker to share the burden.

How long has he had an issue with his shoulder now? I'm no expert so am genuinely asking but was the summer break not an opportunity to get some sort of treatment? Or would that be easier if we had more than one striker?
{Ed007's Note - A few of the lads on the podcast chat said it's a 4 months recovery time for the op Kyogo needs but the word is the player himself didn't want the op this summer.}

I thought he already had the op back in Ange’s time? It’s a constant thing, last season we had CCV, Taylor Hatate and Kyogo out with quite significant injuries at times. The squad so far this year couldn’t cope with that especially if O’Riley goes.

I remember a while ago, I can't remember if it was Ange or BR was talking about it and the mentioned that a few players usually decide with this type of problem to have the op once they finish playing.
