It's an absolute disgrace Buzz.
Just heading for the train and we should be buzzing on flag day.
I can't get my head around not having signed one outfield player other than last years loanee and starting the new season weaker than we finished. Who is heading up recruitment?
The board have taken their lack of vision, ambition and professionalism to new depths.
No cover at left back. A centre half who is only at the club because Aberdeen were £50k short of cash. A lone striker and we sold Oh. We can't even get the player we had on loan last year who just about single handed rescued the league and won the cup for us over the line.
50,000 season tickets. A sold out stadium today. £100m in the bank. A CEO who was there 10 years before Dom McKay was appointed and wasn't deemed the man for the job.
It's an absolute shambles. This is a board that were cracking jokes about Rangers at the AGM. They let Rodgers down during his first tenure. They let him down in last summer transfer window. They let him down again in the January window to such an extent Rodgers pulled a rabbit out the hat himself with Idah and he's done it again with Schmeichel.
That people would defend them beggars belief. Being better than the financial basket case across the Clyde is no benchmark. I've said repeatedly they are out their depth and are at the limits of their individual and collective capabilities. They have £100m in the bank because of us not because of anything they've done. I won't be shelling out £180 for Champions League package. And they're threatening Celtic bloggers with legal action?

Spot on JFP. A club founded to help the poor are now a club with greedy capatilists who are money driven relics. I mentioned earlier about CcV Kyogo Taylor getting injured and we have nobody to replace them is a fecking shambles. The players and manager hopefully make it a joyous day but the Board will get a few chants directed at them! The asleep at the wheel banner is apt.

Good post JFP can't argue with any of that. this is on them they better hope we don't pick up an injury to a key player. surely there's business this week to get done. if sevco had our finances you better believe they'd spend.

The league flag flying today feeds their complacency and self importance, but the shortsighted, over-confidence will bite them on the arse if they fail to back the manager. I wonder what the banners will read today, as I am certain most of the support are angry too.

Would you rather sign 4/ 5 players that don’t improve the squad or wait a while longer for a higher calibre player?

Am I wrong in saying that the board apologized for the winter window? I get that we still have almost 4 weeks to this window closes But I really did think we would have most of our dealings done by now, and just had some tweaks to do if say players left or a good deal came along, I really didn't think that we would be going into the new season with only one left back and one striker on our books It just reaks of bad ( complacent ) management from the board. I don't blame BR for this at all.

I totally get and share everyone's frustration but is part of the problem the players Brendan wants (quality) play for teams who's season is still a few weeks away from starting and their clubs just are not interested in selling at this time, added to the Euro's and the whole transfer market is pretty slow.
