This season could be their last chance of CL football for a long time and if they fail,
10 in a row will be a very realistic target.
It’s obvious Sevco desperately need CL money to narrow the huge financial gap between the clubs.
But only the Champions of Scotland will go into the Qualifiers each season from next season onwards.
Second place can only enter the Europa League Qualifiers each season because Scotland have dropped down the Association Coefficient Table.
I don’t see Scotland getting back into the Top 10 before 2031 because our clubs have a terrible recent European record.
That should give Celtic a really good chance of 10 IAR
Sevco basically done all the hard work getting Scotland into the Top 10 only for Celtic to benefit.
But I don’t see their purple patch continuing.
So basically it isn’t ideal playing in Qualifiers each year but it’s the best thing to happen to keep that financial gap and a very good chance of 10 in a row.

Great read Buzz. Yea I don’t think they will qualify this year at all. We are in such a positive position, just need the board to wake up and do what’s required.
Still confident when window closes, we will have the strongest team/ squad in over a decade.

Celtic need to get our own house in order, our own squad in order before we start making outlandish statement s about rangers.
We are 2 injuries away from having no LB or CF.

I'm certainly not getting over-confident or cocky, but if Celtic manage to buy the right quality in the right positions, then we will have an outstanding opportunity to progress to yet another level.
Building from a position of strength has haunted us in the past and I sincerely hope the Board speculate to accumulate as now is the time.

I’m sure Sevco fans will start to fear the worst if they can’t get CL money this season.
Maybe another behind closed doors season would be their best hope, over the next 7 seasons.

Can we stop 10iar talk, it’s utter nonsense and crippled us last time with the pressure it put on. It’s just a number it means nothing, like 55. Let’s just win this league, hopefully a cup or two, let’s try and win the next one. As long as we win 2 trophies for every 1 they do I’ll be perfectly happy.

I just feel the board has had enough chances in the past, are they going make the same mistake again?
BR listening to his interviews, just sounds calm and confident he will get the players he wants. Would BR of ever come back if promises was not made. I think he would have been promised specially with the new Champions League format if we got into it ( wich we have ) a good spending budget.
I think a solid CB will come in with a striker and Lb minimum in the coming weeks.
Or I could look like a nugget when the window closes lol.

It will be announced in September that Celtic will have over £100M of a start on our rivals.
If Sevco don’t get CL money this season, that will be nearer £150M this time next year, due to our 3rd consecutive CL campaign.
When Celtic failed in the behind closed doors season, we had about £30M up our cuff but this is now on another level.
It’s the last I will be mentioning it but it will happen, especially if Sevco get eliminated this month.

Where does the costs for the new training centre sit? I am sure I read we were also upgrading Lennoxtown. Was it not going to cost 20 million?

I forgot about that expense North 18.
I wasn’t aware it would cost £20M but I don’t know.
The figures should be in our Annual Accounts.
Our Accounts will look healthy at the end of June 30th 2024 because the Abada money will be included, also season ticket cash and obviously the CL money from last season.
Plus any signings we make after June 30th will not be included.
I would love the next Celtic project to be a Hotel next to the Stadium.

We will never bury them our board will never allow it, we'll do just enough in the coming years to dominate Scottish football, while taking a pasting in Europe. History has shown that we're content being ahead of them. Sad but true.

Let's just invest in an incredible recruitment network which will deliver success year upon year, the SPL standard is pish at best, should be easy enough to dominate especially with that mob in turmoil, however it seems a million miles away with the speed of recruitment this far.
