Has anyone seen or read the post about the board on x that the board have now tried to get blocked? Makes interesting reading . ( probably not for wee des to read though, he’s definitely not going to agree with any of it ??) only kidding des! But it is worth a read if it can be found .

Read it this morn apparently the board told him to take it down because of the content but it was fairly accurate if not a bit long winded.

Pedro, it was basically saying how much influence Peter lawelll had going back years, how he argues about downsizing, employing his son who was a failure, Nicholson getting the main job after being his apprentice for years whilst they said they were searching the world for the best person. Getting rid of McKay after he brought basically the best window the club had for years but he actually spent money without haggling over small prices. Losing out on players for small amounts as he would only offer cheap deals. It’s worth a read however he doesn’t counter argument for trophies / money . Like I mentioned yesterday, it depends what side of the fence you are on.

He's been building up the anti board rhetoric for the last week or so, it surprised me he took so long to write that post.
I am not going to say what he said but its been building, as he sees the board neglecting their duty to the Manager and fans by a lack of investment in the team.
BR keeps saying players will come in but until that happens or until the widow closes, no one can say the window as been a success or not. Its the speed of our dealings that causes concern.
One issue is that some people see the team across the city signing plenty players when we aren't, however we are shopping in a shallower pool, with shoppers who can outspend us.
There are less players in our pool with more admirers but at some point, to advance and improve, you have to bite the bullet and pay more than your heads wans you to, or you will stagnate.
We have a brilliant Manager, who wants to drive the club forward, and of course build a legacy, and for what he has done for our club, he deserves to be fully supported, we deserve to be supported and be able to watch the best our club can afford on the pitch.

Pedro, that's the real concern, who's tasking them, what is the criteria being set (go for 3rd choice first, if they accept sorted, or try top 3 and see who bites) and who's reviewing what they are doing or making sure they are doing what is required.
The only real quality first team ready player we have been linked to is O'Shea and looks like that's a non starter.
I am excluding Idah as I have no idea what is really going on there.
I have total trust in the Manager but does he really have otal trust in those doing the work behind the scenes. He sounds positive but we have been here before.

The truth is only four weeks away when the window closes. I personally am confident we will strengthen. i find James Forrest a bit of a half wit to be honest.

I wouldn't say we're friends but I have spoken to James privately a few times and he's a genuine nice enough guy, he's certainly not a half wit imo - it's The Sage of Donegal that's a pain the ar$e with his made up Ibrox "insider" stories.
The only other blog (and his books) I would recommend is Pat Anderson's Paddy on the Railway that you can read HERE. His books are hilarious btw.}

I’ve always liked the James Forrest Blog.
The only time I’ve disagreed with his opinion, was with the GB/ Celtic Board standoff last year.
He gets criticism for writing often about our rivals but our Scottish media refuse to write any negative stories about them.

Some Celtic fans have a very negative view Celtic and they have every right to express them, providing they thin it is true .
Not just thinking of Quinn1888, but u start wit a story u think is true that the Celtic Board are stopping JF articles on x .
But it could be anyone even me . However I didn’t read J f ‘KDS article and can definitely. say it has nothin to do with me.
Quinn goes from placing responsibility On Celtic, to not knowing who it is as he assumes it is Celtic. Obviously I don’t know who these posters, but I know for a fact most Celtic people I meet with from time to time are very nice people and if they are negative or positive. It not doesn’t change them in any way .
I would appreciate if this post was printed, for some reason, recent posts haven’t seen light of day.

Read another Celtic blog that said JF was threatened with a libel case by a Celtic board member if the article wasn’t taken down. Hinted that the board member may or may not have a heated drive.

Read the piece yesterday and can’t say I don’t agree with pretty much all of it, but didn’t know he’d been threatened with legal action. Would appear that someone on our board does have feelings and can be hurt, seems to have touched a nerve.
