I was reading about Oriley not pushing for a move and he's a grounded individual. Instead of summer hols drink friends etc in the sun he went to a yoga retreat. Last year he got a life coach to assist with his mindset that has completely changed his outlook on life. I hope that mindset keeps him here for 1 more year.

I read that Matt struggled with a sore back when he was 14 years old and he started doing Callanetics.
He’s been doing those types of exercises ever since and it seems to help with him staying injury free.
O’Riley has been available for all 142 league game since January 2021.
He played in all 49 league games for MK Dons in the year 2021,until he signed for Celtic in January 2022.
Matt was available for every Celtic game until May, although he never came off the bench on trophy day, when we hammered Motherwell.
He then played in every league game in the 2022/ 23 season.
Last season he never came off the bench in our 3-0 victory at Ross County but played in every other league game.
So since January 2021,
Matt has been available for 142 consecutive league games.
O’Riley played in 140 league games and he also stayed on the bench for the other 2 league games.

Guys if MOR stays Celtic should reward his loyalty by giving him a decent pay rise.

If somebody crosses the Celtic boards palms with enough silver circa. £25-30 million Matt O’Riley will be sold irrespective of whether he wants to go or not.

More than likely JFP and spend circa £5 million on a replacement.

Celtic only spent £3M on a replacement for KT with Bolingoli and less on a replacement for Jota.

MO’R signed a new contract last October, I think that contract would have included a substantial pay rise for this season .
Unless MO’R sought further increase, I wouldn’t expect Board to give another rise .
