Deary me let's get 2-3 new signings in this week. This is excruciating. Seen this movie too many times before.
Deadline day disappointment incoming .

I think we will see some deals sped up now Steady. I can see Bernardo bwing announced when we get back and Idah coming in as well. A few will be moved on before we get a new CB and LB in though.

Still around 5 weeks.

I think we will see definitely more movement in both directions before the deadline.

Will only worry if we only have a week or two but got plenty time, rather wait on the quality arriving rather than buy for the sake of buying.

Question IF we only bring in Bernardo and Idah as the only 2 outfield players in this window would anyone think that's a success or decent? I would think it would be a disgrace personally and this board give me the fear that it car really pan out that way. With only one left back and have had PLENTY of time to bring in new players that we need in the positions that we need them for.

With the GK position sorted and if Idah and Bernardo come in then I think the minimum requirement is another LB and a CB. That would be the bare minimum for me.

There might still be 5 weeks left, but as it stands we’re starting the new season weaker than how we finished last season .
We might ge Bernardo this week but I can’t see Idah getting done.

Yes I think if we bring in Bernardo and Idah, on top of the GKs, then it’s a decent window - if, and only if, we do not sell MOR or Hatate. In an ideal world we’d sing a LB but I like the look of the young lad, he might be ready to step up.
Personally I’d take that, but if either Hatate or MOR goes then it becomes a bad window.

Sorry to be a wet blanket but while acknowledging and agreeing where you're coming from, we've a bloated squad already and we need to ship the u.

We should remember there are three strands to a successful transfer window . Move preferably by selling players that have been around a couple of seasons or more and not contributing to our first team . Keep all our important first team players . Keep them happy and try to prevent them pushing for a move .
Buy players as quickly as possible that manager has requested . Don’t let the standards of wanted player drop, unless desperate at very end of window.
