I think when we eventually sign Bernardo it will be massive. Last year we saw small glimpses and I think he can finally be the type of player Stan Petrov was for us. The way he skipped by the amish lad in the final and drove forward will see us finally having the pure box2box midfielder (topping it off with plenty of goals) we've not really had since Stan.

Amissh lad ?. Bernardo could be an excellent coup at that price and right now will be a fantastic squad player. Definitely got a lot of the attributes of a forward thinking CM.

Nowhere near the quality of petrov. i hope I'm proven wrong but I think the bhoy is average.

He did a helluva lot more last season than stan did in his first. albeit he was played at RB and didn't really get help to adjust to a new country.
