a lot of fans panicking on signings not for me. the squad just now is healthy and the additional quality will be added the work will be done in the back round.
rodgers basically says yesterday Taylor won't be first choice so my thoughts a left back will be brought in. 2 or 3 quality players will be brought in the panic needs to stop
for me after a left back is brought in wee will bring a striker and centre back in imo that will make us stronger. probably a winger to. when we look at our wingers wee have khun medea forrest palma yang all good quality.

Well said UI. I agree, BR was clear that he had spoken to GT and made him aware of what will happen after the window closes, he will have to fight for a spot in the team, so he expects a LB in.
He keeps saying things are going on in the background and they know who they want. He is saying him and board are on same page.
I do think we will get a LB, CB and at least 1 striker, possibly 2.
Clubs will be holding out for maximum profit but over next few weeks, as the window closure comes into view, clubs will be left with the decision, sell and have time to get in a replacement, or don't sell and be left with a player they may not want to keep or who is unhappy.
I understand the league starts in a week but other leagues don't and we are looking outwith our league, so patience (and God it's hard) is needed.

spot on mate. no one had a clue about the 2 keepers till there were basically signed. i believe were working on the other signings just now and they have been identified and its just the process of getting them over the line now. fans are panicking to much and just want signings pronto its like when the window opens players should just being coming in every week. the squad is healthy looks strong and playing well and the additional quality will be added in due course to strengthen it a lot more.

no mate its no that simple the fee has to be agreed then wee speak to player and he has to be happy with what terms on offer and his agent then this is the big one he must also want to play in scotland.
if the club accepts offer then player says no then its on to the next one and it could be the same with the next one in till wee find a player of good quality that will play in scotland. lest be honest mate the scottish league is pish. take yer celtic specs off because wee all love the club and dnt understand why players would not want to play for a club our size its maybe they just can't see there sell playing in scotland.
no as easy as offering the transfer fee and it being accepted then us telling the player get yer arse up here yer clubs accepted the fee.
theres a certain market wee shop in now and proven quality is not that market wee have to find the best in the market below that and its hard push at that trying to get them to play in scotland.

It’s the same as usual,
Celtic have enough for domestic football but we will get embarrassed in the CL with our current squad.
We need new players to compete properly in Europe but I can understand our board not spending crazy amounts because it might not make any difference in the CL groups.
Is it worth spending extra millions to only lose 2-1 instead of 3-0.
That’s the debate amongst our fans because domestic football isn’t a worry this season.
{Ed007's Note - Buzz, Celtic only need to finish in the 9th to 24th place in the new format CL to go into a play-off round against another team from those 16 places to go through to the Round of 16.
With the proper recruitment there's no reason Celtic shouldn't have at least 10 CL games this season imo.}

Panicking no, unhappy/ dissolutioned/ dissatisfied and generally p issed off at the complete lack of forward planning by those responsible at CP for signing new players ahead of the start of the new league campaign.
A quick history lesson, last summer and winter transfer windows were embarrassing and almost cost us the league - we got out of jail by the skin of our teeth.
BR would have known he wanted to resign both Bernardo and Idah - so far nothing.
BR stated the LB position needed strengthening, so far - nothing.
He got x2 CB's last summer he doesn't even like.
It was an open secret that Siegrist wanted away as BR doesn't play him, so whether that was a surprise to some supporters your's truly has been calling for it for quite some time before last season finished.
The opening game of the season is around the corner, we've got more money than at anytime in our history and we haven't signed one outfield player.
The network CL format starts in the coming weeks and we're weaker right now than we were in May.
BR may well yey get a few players before the window closes but they will not have been in place in the side, playing pre season games, anywhere bear as early as they should have been.
GK (X2) / LB / CDM and Striker (x2) were required for this season before Idah scored the SC winning goal at the end of last season.
Time will ultimately tell but this is far from good enough on every level, IMO.
Should anyone have a different take on it, that's your opinion.
BR deserves more, the supporters deserve more.

If we go into the Killie game with both newly signed goalies missing through injury and illness would that be incompetency . Kyogo has been with us for 3 seasons and he hasn’t missed many games through illness or injury . With our two goalkeepers neither has been with us long enough to demonstrate any record on injuries or illnesses. If we missed both it would be tough on our defence.

I don’t know how any Celtic fan can be embarrassed by our European results . We have a long record of playing in Europe that few teams can equal . Many clubs starring in so called big leagues have never won the big one.
With proper support from fans and Board we can recreate fortress Parkhead and start to build the confidence from bottom to top of club to reach the summit again . People may laugh and snigger but I don’t know of one single fan in 1965 thought we would win the big one by 25/ 05/ 1967.

pedro what was embarrassing about the january window wee signed a striker who done the job that no one wanted but are now crying out to get him back in were u one of the ones who did not want idah we also signed a player in khun who looks to be a good signing.
so 2 good signings in january so what was bad about it. 3 in a row and another double of the back of a treble and people still are not happy. as for the champions league i thought wee turned up we were just missing that bit of luck. one of the most successful periods in our history and the moaning is unreal.
des if both keepers get injured there will be moans of we shoulda signed 3. some people are never happy.

pedro what more do you want were racking up trophy after trophy just about to over take both govan clubs trophy haul just think of that we will over take them look how far ahead they were a good few year back.
