I got a bit of stick on here before regarding my own valid opinion on my view of the Celtic board when it comes to transfer dealings but a very interesting article from reliable Celtic blogger James Forrest was released recently that certainly raises some questions of the boards credibility,
hopefully the admins on here have the courtesy to accept my input and allow a fans opinion.

Well said mate, there’s not many clubs making any transfers of note so far but we’ve known for a long time that we need a keeper and a LB as well as Bernardo and Idah. I think it’s fair to expect some activity by now especially with our youngsters all leaving and O’Riley, Hatate attracting interest.

I'll hold my judgement till after the transfer window is closed. I'd prefer we try get our players at a decent or negotiable price than pay over the odds.

With each passing day of no signings the anger, frustration, worry, anxiety; call it what you want, of the fans grows.
This will eventually manifest in acts against the board. The sad thing is I don't think the board care about us and only see us a cash cow for milking.
If they mess up another transfer window I can see some of us going apocalyptic on their fat corporate asses.

How much would DD be in profit if he sold his shareholding?
{Ed007's Note - And what if, as expected, DD passes the shares onto his son? Even if he did sell them, that's what investors do but as it stands it doesn't change the fact that DD is nearly £24m out of pocket.

There is no evidence at all to support all this "the board are lining their own pockets" or "see the Club as their cash cow" "looking after PL's bonus" nonsense, where is it in the accounts, exactly who is supposedly getting all this money that they aren't entitled to and where is the money coming from because it's not in the accounts?}

I was merely suggesting that the board do not care about the fans. They just see us as customers and they want to extract as much cash as possible from us. To them it is just a business and the business profit will go down if they increase wages and transfer fees. They are risk averse.

Weejoe, I don’t think fat arses are limited to members of the Board . There are many fans with fat arses.

I don't really listen to that kind of noise about the board that other people are shouting about ed007
I was trying to have a look at our scouts, who we are paying money to and happened to come across something on transfermarkt that I found interesting, that a certain Jay Lefevre is down as head of scouting so has he been promoted do you know ed? I took a screenshot but don't know how to post a picture on here. If he has been promoted why was nothing said about this?
The thing that bothers me most why o why are the board really really resistant to modernisation of the football department?

It is absolutely ridiculous we don't have one, as far as I know almost all the teams ( if not them all ) in league have one apart from us, sometimes when I think about the board not doing this it makes me want to scream out with rage. In the business world I wouldn't imagine there are too many boardrooms been intact for as long as our board has, new blood brings new ideas.
