The SFA let slip a few years ago that the West End of Hampden holds more than the Celtic End ( East ) .
It's noticeable in the Attendances at Finals in recent years.
When the Ibrox club reaches a Hampden final the attendance is always at least 50,000.
But when Celtic reach a Hampden final the attendance falls short of 50,000.
There might only be 500 to 1,000 tickets of a difference but it's the difference between my kids getting a ticket for the final.
The league cup final against Hibs last season only had an attendance of 48,500.
Celtic received about 33,000 but my kids still missed out on tickets, although they had been to every previous round.
They have since joined The Home Ticket Scheme.

That might be true and the attendance at finals over the last 10 years or so reads approx'
Triggers Broom FC - 150 000 ( 1 win 2 losses)
The mighty Celtic - 600 000 (11 wins 1 loss)
Hope the kids hit ticket pay dirt - they have a great chance of just having their team in the final given the last decade of results.

Buzz no surprise there mate, I am old enough to remember the first Hampden upgrade, where they only covered the sevvie end and left our Celtic end UNCOVERED.

Guys i remember in 1966/ 67 getting excited about going to a brand new built school only to be told it was been given to the other side. was stuck in the old run down building till i went to secondary.
Ed007 will know the school. Glenlee in burnbank, was supposed to be St cuthberts.

Tim I’m sure when they they were upgrading Hampden that you mentioned Celtic contributed generously towards it, I’m sure it was in the region of £10,000,and as you said they covered the Rangers end.

Remember the East ter. Had black Ash hot day celtic scored dust took ages to settle HH.
