Like most folk I've never seen Jenz play but Ange hasn't gone far wrong so far. Davies was touted to us (and half of England) so I'm no convinced he is a player. Debate about whether we have a stronger 11 than last year, let's wait and see. Personel wise maybe not, but a good few of last years team will be better this year.
{Ed007's Note - Have we got a stronger squad than last season? Bitton and Rogic definitely upped their game last season under Ange but this time last year I don't think there was a Celtic fan that would have been upset if both had left.
Gucci's been here a year and will get plenty of game, going by what's going round Jimmy Mac is raring to go, Hatate was goosed for the last couple of months last season and has had a full preseason, Kyogo and Maeda have also had a rest and a pre season under Ange, fans wanted a new LB and we got one, new CB brought in to replace Jullien (how was the team/squad stronger last year with Bitton pi$$ing about?) we brought in Siegrist as back-up, a player who could have been our main rivals No.1 if they didn't give a 40-year old a new deal.
Sure Mooy isn't a big marquis signing but it's not as if he was presented as such, he's a good sqaud signing that's a bit different from what we have, will he do a job for us as Bitton's replacement in the sqaud, brought on to add some dig and see matches out, definitely.
Remember when everyone looked into Ange last year and he said himself it usually took a year to see the fruition of his plans, now everybody's $hat the bed because we signed a squad player that Ange, Kewell and Baby Lawwell know well on a free.
I'm not convinced Ange is finished for this window but anyone that's questioning whether we are stronger/better than last season are just looking for something to moan about.}

Great post ED, Also on the Sevco newest recruit.
When we were signing him he was a free agent and would have been fighting young Welsh as Celtic's 3rd choice and after signing for Liverpool he wasn't even 5th choice but Sevco have just paid £4m for a defender who will come in as there 1st choice.
A great business model like this will see the second club to play at Ibrox go into liquidation.

Don't get your last comment Ed. You run a forum and a podcast where celtic fans debate every aspect of the club. Debating the strengths of squads is just another aspect of all things celtic. HH.

AV said on here and podcast that the board are damned if they do and damned if they don't.
Let's give the current team / squad a chance to prove what they can do then offer a full assessed view after watching them.
I do respect everyone has and are entitled to an opinion.
We either " in Ange we trust" or we don't.

Same the negativity bad. Its like they can't see the big picture. Mooy ange knows him inside out. Do you really think he would have signed him not a chance ange is now controlling everything football wise at the club.
I'd never heard of jota or vickers or JJ or the Greek god or kyogo or maeda or hatate or guchi
Or oriley. Oh ye and never heard of ange.
So I guess ange messed that up as well.
We win the league and a cup last year on anges first season.
These guys won us the league and where just thrown in are we forgetting this guys.
Now they have been rested and first preseason.
So I think you should let ange do what he is good at.

12 months ago we were in complete disarray, does anyone not recall the shambles that Ange inherited?
The job that Ange, with the backing of the board, has done, is nothing short of phenomenonal.
Oh and we're Champions again, you know.
