Great result by Hungry but to be fair, Gareth Southgate has managed England to the finals of the last European Championships and the Semi final of a W. C.
Some could put a case that he's the most successful England manager since Ramsay - just saying ?

But could a better manager have taken these players to the WC final and actually won the Euros? Southgate threw away that final against Italy after getting a cracking draw all the way to the final - all played at home with a majority of England fans in the ground. A draw that even The Rangers envied!
I personally think they don't have any world class players (Kane maybe? ) but plenty of world class posers and delusional expectancy. They don't look like they try hard enough to me and you need that on top of your skill if you want to win things at that level.
England are leading the world on inclusivity, anti-racism, and equality. They have female presenters, female pundits. Male professional football players are now coming out and being supported.
There’s so much to be positive about, so much to champion.
Can they win a football match? No.
That's what England fans are starting to think - are they wrong? Southgate needs to park the virtue signalling and remember the day job.
Not that I'm complaining though!

I'm not sure how far back you can recall but the whole Engerland, 3 Lions on the shirt, its coming home p*sh has been going on before my time - since that dreaded year of 1966 Id imagine when they also played EVERY game at Wembley.
The tabloid press build them up and up and up ensuring the bulldog tattoo, union jack shorts wearing brigade, drink it in like the warm English beer they so love on holiday (usually Spain) and then wait for the enevitable collapse and the fallout that follows in the big competitions.
For me, a country with the population of Engerland and the supposed 'best league in the world' should be doing far better, maybe that's the problem.
That so called best league in the world, with all its riches, is full of world class players and coaches, it just so happens that the vast majority of them are not Engerlish ?.
In terms of female football presenters (God give me strength) , anti racism and equality, for me, it's nothing more than paying lip service.
Sly Sports has played a huge part in generating this garbage to somehow pacify the woke modern day society in which we live, unfortunately, I believe its nothing more than a gimmick and one that does those groups a disservice.
