Although I don't like Clarke one bit and detest International football in general, I get the impression our Scots players want to play for their country and compete in relative competitions. There could be a chance we will have more than half the Celtic team away for the Qatar tournament. Maybe even as many as the rest of the SPL teams put together?

What a country. Some of us here wanting Scotland to lose and others across the Clyde find the saltire as offensive as the Irish tricolour. Trust me I’ve got a Scotland tammy that’s safer to wear in Derry than Airdrie.
I understand Celtic players on international duty is less than ideal particularly when we’re disproportionately represented given risk of injury. But I appreciate football players want to represent their country even if I’m not a fan of international football.
So why am I meant to want my country to lose and Ukraine to win pray tell?
The Ukrainians are evidently a very proud people the last thing I’d imagine they’d want is Scotland to roll over. I think they’d take it as a bigger compliment if we approach the game the way they will and give our all to qualify.

UNITED IRELAND is my user name but im a proud scot of the Gaelic celtic stock. both grand fathers side are Irish and both grandmothers are Celtic scots. i am a proud scots supporter its my home and home of my ancestors and Ireland is the home of my ancestors also and i support there struggle god bless the celtic nations c'mon the Scotland tonight wonder if we make the world cup if souness will be supporting his homeland.
