The Celtic players mention in interviews how intense the training is under Ange.
Ange had the players on the training field for a full week leading up to the Semi Final and I couldn't believe how tired our players looked.
Especially playing against a side, who less than 70 hours previously, had played for 120 minutes.
The only explanation for our lacklustre performance would be over training and maybe this week Celtic can save more energy for the match day.
It's the end of April and Celtic are as fit as we're ever going to be and I don't think this is the time for another week of more intense training.
Ange has been a god send and I don't mean to criticise him but I'm still baffled by our lacklustre performance last week because it still doesn't make any sense.

Buzz Bomb. The players are not robots.

Sevco players target the Celtic midfield they make sure first couple of challenges are hard enough, to put the players off there game, other illegal challenges on other Celtic players were allowed by the referee, Celtic have a good midfield, but when the opposition are allowed to foul kick and grab, how can Celtic play against that, Sevco have a game on Thursday and they will play again on Sunday, will Sevco be allowed to get away with the same tactics, will the referee turn a blind eye to what will go on again, we know the refferees can have selective eyesight when it is a sevco game, Celtic players will have to man up on Sunday and not be intimidated by Lundstram, Aribo, Jack, Arfied or Davis.

For me, the difference was how the 90 minutes played out. You can be as fit as you like but when you score a late equaliser you're going to get a massive adrenaline boost and, likewise, when you concede late on it's physically and mentally draining. Everything swung in their favour when they equalised. They had a spring in their step and our players just never recovered.

training!
For how long each day?
Followed by Dieticians, physio's, psychologists etc. etc. They don't even make a cup of tea for goodness sake!

Their actual workday?
90+ minutes!
And that is spread between 11-15 players.

I get really annoyed when I see/ hear people (manager, pundits, players and supporters) come away with the.
"They had a hard game in midweek so obviously tired! "

Try working 12 hour shifts on an oil rig, driving a lorry, delivering milk etc. etc. etc.
Rant over lol

Did I mention how well paid those wee tired football players are?

Good reply Kev because that’s what I thought last Sunday.
Celtic dominated the second half and were in total control and then the equaliser changed the game on its head.

glen80768 you have summed it up perfectly, Celtic we’re not allowed to play their natural game for the reasons you gave. The sevco players you mentioned were allowed to do what they wanted to without any retribution from the referee. It will be interesting to see who is in charge on Sunday, I have no doubts sevco will use the same tactics again.

Glen,
Look what happened yesterday when Callaghan eventually got an early booking for his 2 woeful challenges, it put him out of the game because of his caution.

It helped Sevco get the win that they wanted, l mentioned the other day who l thought would be the referee, if it was Beaton Penalty Sevco, or even Walsh Penaly player sent off Sevco, Scottish Football have so many incompetent Referees.

We got kicked off the ball in cup game. We weren't at our best. Sunday will be a different game. There's not much between the teams, will come down to who takes chances. We did at Ibrox. We didn't at Hampden.
