The one thing you notice when you have a good team is the ones not up to the level.
We have the likes of Kyogo, Jota, Hatate, Rogic etc and they are top drawer with Maeda, Hart, Mcgregor who are pure quality.
But you def notice the likes of Taylor, Forrest who are not up to their standard.
I have noticed over the last couple of games we are far more dangerous down the left than the right.
Most of that is down to Jota, while on the right Forrest doesn't even look to take his man on now and doesn't position himself to do so and Abada wants it in behind more often than not.
So for me we are 1 player away from a right good team and that's left back.
We have enough in forward positions even on the right side with Maeda, Abada, Forrest as back up.
So the question is can we get rid of Barkas, Ajeti, Soro, and Boli and bring in a quality LB?
Any suggestions guys?

{Ed007's Note - What about Scales?}

Forrest has proved his quality to me over the years winner v rangers last min shahter garangsndy goal and a shed load of other important goals in Europe and in Scotland . Taylor on the other hand a don't want to be harsh but compared to juranovic on the other side who is utter class is starting to stick out to me .

Taylor and Scales must be doing a good job, if most of our attacks are coming down the left side.
Both players are committed and Celtic also have JJ who can change to left back.
It’s possibly something Ange might look at in the summer but he looks happy with his current options.

Bit harsh for me. Forrest is still working his way back up to fitness. Maybe lost a half yard but can still be a big player for us. Jota is different class, difference is JF has given us his career. Best case scenario with Jota is 2-3 seasons. Enjoy him while we can. Thought Taylor put in a decent shift and I'm not his biggest fan. For me a huge positive is bitton. He has been a bit of a scape goat in the past but is having an excellent season when called upon in his favoured role. Just keep him away from free kicks! Huge 3 points and great team spirit.

You say We are better on the left than the right and you want to get rid of the left back . as a lb what does taylor actually do wrong in his critics eyes ? .

{Ed007's Note - I've always backed Taylor - maybe blindly sometimes as I felt a bit sorry for him - but even though he seemed to struggle with it at first I think he is finding his feet in Ange's system. And Starfelt seems to have taken over from Taylor as the current whipping Bhoy.}

I like Scales ed but Ange is seeing something we are not. I would have him in before Taylor but its def the 1 position we all know we can get better at.

{Ed007's Note - I'd be really surprised if we brought in a LB, I think it's up to Scales and Taylor to claim the spot as their own.}

DRB Taylor doesn't do anything wrong but he isn't the quality of the others that's obvious.

Seems to give the ball away when we're knocking it around with ease but that's only my view.

I don't think we will either ed but if not it will be fixed in the summer.

{Ed007's Note - Hhhhmmm I don't know, Scales is just in the door and Taylor only signed a new 4-year deal in October there.}

Taylor is a solid player full stop. What I would like to comment on is Giakoumakis involvment in things. After he missed that penalty I had him down as a £3m dud. Hands up. after a slow start his goals have been class. Gives us a different dimension up front.
