Interesting to see that Japan play Saudi Arabia on Tuesday at 10am and Australia play Oman at 4pm on the Tuesday. Be interesting to see if Celtic bring both players back quickly as both could be back in Glasgow for Wednesday am. Especially with Maeda unlikely to see much game time if any.

Neither players will return for the match on the wednesday. It would be craziness to have them play a match, get on a 12 - 18 flight then play again haha.

There is a chance if Maeda doesn’t play for Japan but I wouldn’t allow Rogic to play 2 games in successive days, with a lengthy flight in between.
The Japan game is earlier than the game in Oman but Maeda’s flight from Japan is longer.
The Arsenal player had a 7 hour flight back from Cameroon last Thursday and then came off the bench for Arsenal that night.
Rogic also has a 7 hour flight back from Oman.
Ange has mentioned that the players can rest when they’re 45 years old and retired.

Yeah i suppose if Maeda doesn't play he could maybe be in contention however it seems a big ask for me.
Do players need to do any form of isolation or testing on return?

I remember when Efe arrived back on morning of Juve game, we lost 3-0,pretty sure he was blamed for everything, especially by Commons, think Lennon said he shouldn’t have played him, like I’ve said before get Maeda on one of those jets that flew over Scotland last week, back in 10 minutes with a tail wind.

Your right Poet, Efe caused a goal in the first few minutes against Juventus.
The Arsenal player I mentioned also received a Red card for his 2nd booking last Thursday. The gamble didn’t work for them also.
