Mally, you've totally missed my point, the statement the Talbot manager made was he would of liked his team to clog a few of the opposition just like Ferguson obviously sent out his Alloa team to do.
Coaching should be more focused on improving a young players technique rather than win at all costs attitude, young players will reap the benefits as they get older. Scotland will never produce players like other similar sized countries like The Netherlands if we continue to let our kids get coached by dinosaurs whos idea of coaching is get intae them.

I think I agree with the coach, I watched a bit of the game and they gave Hearts too much room, it's not so much a case of get intae them, it was get close to them, don't give them any room, go with them, harrass them, get in their faces, make it difficult for them to play their game, if you do that, you will probably give away fouls and end up getting bookings, that's not the same as clogging them, its competing against them, when you are up against superior players you can stand back and admire their fabulous skills (like we have been guilty of, more than once, against Barcelona, ) , or you can try to make a game of it, I think that was what the coach was trying to say.
