4G pitches should be banned . death traps for one touch players .
Referees must or should be aware of the over exuberance of the enthusiastic lower league players. Ball players should get some protection.

McCarthy hasn't done much wrong.
We aren't anywhere near critical enough and at times our strikers seem very disjointed from the rest of the team.
Would like to see scales get more game time his balls into the box are decent.

I am a great lover of fast, one or two touch, silky football, but sometimes I think, in certain circumstances (like tonight, or when we play the like of Livingston or Motherwell) we need some players who can dish out the hard stuff.

McCarthy has started to look good last few games he's played. I don't know what his situation is now we've signed 3 in midfield but he's definitely dropped down the pecking order a bit.
