I'm disappointed that Ange has confirmed Celtic will Not be bringing in any more signings in January.
We need to have much better luck with injuries from January because our bench has been very weak for months.
Our 3 new Japanese signings will make a difference but I think we needed a couple more new players.
It looks like 5 subs will be reintroduced and having a good bench could play a big part in who secures the title.
Our new Irish signing will already be out injured for several weeks but he is a project for the future.
After today's announcement, Celtic will need better luck with injuries to help us win the league with a much settled side.

Can't just keep buying players. Squad is bloated needs trimmed. Could argue about quality of players but until we shift the deadwood we have to get on with it.

Dont you think ange has done great why are you disapointed.
He's putting in plenty of new systems. Systems that should have been done years ago.
By the summer it's all on him and it will be his last transfer window before pressure starts.
We have never been this organised that I can remember.
At the end of the day ange will want his own team
And he will be assessing what he inherited from lennon and judas.

Julienne was constantly getting panned on here before injury. .
Forrest is now injured a lot.
Now where does Taylor lie in all this ange rates him.
Who knows what our first team wil look like.
We have 34 players roughly that's a lot and a huge wage bill ange must cut. Probly as soon as possible.
Sorro boli Ajeti Barkas wil either be told to leave sold or loaned out. But these players have to want this. Ange seems to not rate any of them.
The board are backing ange.
Another 3 signing on this January window is pretty good. and not our usual desperate juggling that is a first. which is unusual for us.
These 3 signing are on ange he must be sure that's all we need just now. If it goes pear shaped its all on him.

Ange has said no more then fair enough. That's OK with me now.
the players have to show how great they are to play for celtic.
If these 3 signings turn out to be 3 gems then that's an amazing window. Let's not forget they are working on signing jota and vickers big money But we have to sell as you know we have some dead wood left. We can't just keep signing let's stick see how Monday goes.

Since the summer Celtic have moved on 22 players but 10 of them are on loan.
In that time Celtic have brought in new 18 players and only Jota and CCV are loan signings. Also Maeda is initially a loan deal which will be made permanant at the end of the season.
I can see your point Auf, although a few of those new project players have already been sent out on loan.
I suppose Celtic will need to move on guys like Barkas, Bolingoli and Ajeti before we can bring in new players to replace them.

I was disappointed when it was reported that Ange mentioned there would be no more signings.
Mally has seen the interview and he technically didn’t say that, which is good.
I’m a massive fan of Ange and I dread to think where Celtic would currently be without him.
Ange has given the Celtic Supporters a trophy already and he’s also given us Hope for the future.
What Ange has achieved on his own in 6 months is incredible. ??.

After listening to Anges interview it seems to me he's essentially saying that we need to shift players out of CP, before he brings anymore in.
Here's hoping we can move on the likes of Barkas, Bolingoli, Ajeti and Soro as it will help with squad numbers and cash flow.
I'm also delighted with the business we've done in this window even if it closed tonight.
Ange has a clear vision of how he wants to play and what players can perform playing that style.

The very last part of the press conference he said unless something extraordinary comes along or if something happens to the current squad (I. e injuries) no players will come in.

BTW, I also meant to add that if we were looking to shell out 2.5M on Riley McGree then there must still be funds available for the right player (s) ?.
I still think we'll see another one or two new players before the end of the month.

I for one am happy at the way Ange has came out and just been honest and upfront with the support ( Shock Horror i know ) rather have that than another 3 weeks of every name under the sun being mentioned as a potential target.

I don't think Ange said no more signings,
He did say that they were not in talks with anyone right now.
It is the 13th January still a couple of weeks.
I don't expect any more but I did not hear him say all was done.

See with Ange saying there is no offers for players just any names coming up are all lies he did say if something comes up too he's just no lying.
