Looks to me she gave in because the p*ss drinkers tournament is about to start and there's no way Scotland could have had closed stadiums while Twickers was open.
This decision has got absolutely nothing to do with football, a sport the Scottish Government show blatant contempt for.

I was thinking the exact same Rab.
Especially when Scotland only have 2 home matches in this years 6 nations.
The hospitality trade in Edinburgh would go mental if she banned fans.

I don’t think if Scotland’s First Minister was worried about the opinion of the people of Edinburgh who watch and play a game with a daft shaped baw and get points for kicking it out the park and hitting it over the bar better than Ryan Christie or the impact on the hospitality industry she’d have cancelled one of the biggest Hogmanay celebrations in the world.
What’s the chance she maybe just did what she did rightly or wrongly in the best interests of the people of Scotland then and now as opposed to bring yir ane booze tae ma party Boris whose ar$e is being twisted by big business to relax restrictions irrespective of who dies?
The Hun$ are of the opinion she’s dancing to our tune.

Fair enough mate, it was a bit tongue in cheek. I have never doubted that the Government have had some very, very tough decisions to make and I am more than grateful they call the shots up here far more than that buffoon and his awful cronies down South.
That said, I have always been of the opinion that they see football and it's fans as a burden up here rather than the massive generator of health and wealth it actually is.
I'm just so thankfull I'll be making a 360 mile round trip on Monday night! ???.
