It was brought to my attention from the Sevco pages that Dermot Desmond has invested another £37.1 million into Celtic.
He had a chuckle about the investment but I think our biggest shareholder putting a large amount of cash into Celtic can only be a good thing.
Or Am I missing something?
I read an article on the DD investment and a financial expert reckons that Celtic are not over reliant on DD, after looking over the latest Celtic accounts.
I'm surprised why it hasn't received more media attention and we had to find out from an obsession Sevco supporter.
I would like to read Tbhoy's view on the investment from our biggest shareholder.
{Ed007's Note - Well Buzz unless Dermot Desmond has changed the name of Celtic Plc to Mountain Province Diamonds and we are now a diamond mining company in Canada without anyone knowing there is no £37.1 million investment in Celtic from DD.
You can go back over and give them a couple of lessons, the first one might be how to read - personally I blame the schools - maybe start them off with something simple like THIS.

I’m afraid this is quite typical of a lot of people on a lot of issues these days ED. They are to lazy to read past the ‘click-bait’ headlines.
Well done for nipping a ‘non-story’ in the bud though.

Definitely no additional funds from Dermot and given the current financial status and unlike the other mob the fact we are profitable makes it unnecessary.
If he was to invest £37.1m some sort of share issue would be required and it would have to be notified to the LSE. OR he would have to put the money in as a loan or some sort of sponsorship.
But in honestly just looks like a sevvie that needs to brush up on their reading skills.
