I see bringing the break forward is now going to a vote.
Going to be interesting. what do we think?
10-2 in favour? 11-1?
Wonder which club will vote against??
I am going to go for 11-1, I think Ross will see sense, although they obviously can't count up there . 50 became 3000 when Malky counted the fans on the field last week. So maybe their one vote will become 60. I hope the SPL keep their eye open for that ??

Good One Harry.
The SPFL are having an emergency discussion with the 22 Premiership and Championship clubs at 3pm today.
They will also have discussions with the league 1 and league 2 clubs at 5pm today.

I didn’t realise the SPFL board have the final say and it doesn’t matter if it’s a 10-2 vote in bringing the winter break forward.
Unfortunately Sevco and Ross County have representatives on the SPFL board.
On the SPFL board is the Chairman MacLennan, Neil Doncaster and Director McCluskey.
Hibs, Ross County, Sevco, Dunfermline, Hamilton, Forfar and Airdrie all have representatives on the SPFL board.
Currently it will be Ross County and Sevco against Hibs, which doesn’t look good.
What’s the point of having a vote if the board have the final say anyway?

There is no contractual implications with Sky apparently so so the winter break must be brought forward otherwise there is a not very well hidden agenda.

That’s good JFP if there’s No contractual implications with the broadcaster.
I reckon the clubs will vote in favour of moving the winter break but I’m not sure about the SPFL who have representatives from Sevco and Ross County on their board.

The financial implications along with cv should be enough for common sense to prevail, but then there's sevco mmmm.

22 Dec 2021 14:13:48
Sevco shouldn't get a say in any decision that's to be made, this is a club who still claim to be the same club that shafted the whole of Scottish football by using illegal EBT's, dodging taxes and not paying their debts to many small businesses. They should just think themselves lucky they had a corrupt organisation that allowed a club playing out of Ibrox to join the Scottish League.

I can’t see the sense in the SPFL asking the clubs to vote if they are not going to listen to that vote.
I know the SPFL have done some strange things in the past, but asking for a vote then ignoring it would be a new level in incompetence.

I know Harry but the SPFL get the final say.
Bravo Stevie, I enjoyed reading your reply. ?.
