It's incredibly unlucky to think Celtic have 8 forward players in our first team squad,
Kyogo, Ajeti and Giakoumakis,
Forrest, Jota, Johnston and young Dembele.
And yet we only have Abada fit.
But hopefully Celtic can still win tonight and then win another league cup final without starting with a striker, similar to 2019.

Possible johnston Al these guys injured or not should not be anywhere near 1st team squad they don't come if the bench and improve us.

Normally 8 players would be enough to cover only 3 positions.

It's getting tougher every week as the injury list grows by the day and amazing that we are still dominating games and creating so much; mind you the midfield and back line would do well to knock in a few with all the possession, set-plays and corners we muster in games.

I take your point BuzzBomb but have to say that Ajeti, Johnson and Dembele for me, don't count.
Ange clearly doesn't trust Ajeti, Dembele has yet to come close to be a first team player and Mikey, well, I believe he's on borrowed time as he's yet to produce and live upto the player he could be.
Giorgious is an interesting one, after what he did last season in the Dutch League there was understandibly, anticipation, I hope he can come back from this and show what he can do.

On the final day of the transfer window, I was praying for another striker because I knew 3 wasn’t enough.
I mentioned at the time, that Ange trusted Ajeti because I couldn’t see any other reason for leaving us with 2 strikers and a new striker signing who hadn’t played any game time since May.
I said on here at the time, it was a huge gamble and it clearly hasn’t paid off.
I think not having a decent backup striker caused Celtic points against Dundee Utd and Livingston and that’s been the difference in the league table.

I agree BuzzBomb on Ajeti, he played in the pre season games but 9nce the season kicked off, he disappeared.
Maybe if Daizen Maeda signs he fills that forward/ Striker gap ?
I really do hope we see Giorgious fit and firing on all cylinders in the New Year - he could bring a more physical option to games.
