That’s a good shout Buzz. I don’t think he’ll go that far but he should make at least half a dozen. Thursday will only be game 3 of 9 over December so the squad should be used and stretched.

100% BuzzBomb, the game is essentially a 'dead rubber' and it would provide a good run out for these players.
Also agree with Mal that Ange won't go that far, but I'd hope key players are rested.

It may be a dead rubber but we paid a lot of money for this match and deserve a decent team be put out nota complete new team imo. We have the worst defensive record in Europe so some of these guys you want to rest really need to learn how to defend against better opposition and after 60 minutes you can make up to 5 changes to key players. Players can get injured in training so I’m not for wrapping them in cotton wool.

Jim1972 we have more important games coming up in a busy schedule and with our current list of injuries we can’t afford any more so it makes sense to rest a few players on Thursday.

@oldkilly not saying don’t rest a couple but 11 no way. It may be a dead rubber but what if not winning means we don’t sign a player or have to have an extra round of qualifying in future years? Getting beat with shadow squad will be detrimental over winning and building momentum. Trust sport science team and physios to tell manager who to rest rather than blanket drop 1st team they are professional sportsmen after all.

We’ve had 4 hamstring injuries in 10 days we can’t really be trusting those physios and sport scientists. I would change the full team like buzz said but I don’t think he will. Probably see Bain, urighide, scales thrown into defence. Turnbull needs rested and I wouldn’t risk rogic so I’d say calmac will play. Ajeti will probably play too.
