Statement from the SPFL
"Following on from our colleagues at the SFA saying they were glad to get back to normality by reinstating the tradition of giving Sevco home cup ties against weak opposition, we at the SPFL are pleased that our referees are doing something similar by awarding penalties to Sevco when it is obvious they are struggling. We applaud this great tradition.

Sevco do seem to have a Plan B when they’re struggling.
3 times Sevco have been losing this season and then they’ve received a penalty and then last night Sevco again were struggling and their players fall to the turf.
Mally was asking the question if Beaton would have given Hibs a penalty with only 6 minutes to go for the same offence, with the game still goalless.
I think that would be very doubtful, considering Beaton has only ever given One penalty against Sevco in 9 and a half years.

If we win this league and av said this before it will be one of our greatest achievements due to the corruption in our game, from the fixtures to the officials it's stacked in one clubs favour.

Between the dubious random fixture list and selected suspicious KO times we have had to endure this season; on top of a hand-picked familiarly regular rota of delegates from the Lanarkshire Mafia, we will need a super-human effort from The Bhoys to right these wrongs. Of course a show of bottle and assertive action from the Celtic Board or representative could at least expose the fact we are on to them.

Buzz, any idea how many cheating Beaton as awarded in that same period?

Since October 2012,Beaton has been the referee in a Sevco game 32 times in major competitions, plus 2 Challenge cup matches.
It’s not many games considering the time frame.
Beaton has awarded Sevco 8 penalties and he’s given One penalty against them.

I hate saying this but Beaton got the decision spot on last night, it was a stone wall penalty.
