It might be rubbish that im reading but it says spurs are upping the price for ccv? I thought a price was agreed before hand in a loan to buy deal much the same as jota, if that's correct about spurs can benfica do the same with jota?

think its just usual paper nonsense, if we did have an agreement in place prior to him joining on loan it would be contractual.

I like Carter-Vickers but he is not top class. Neither he not Starfelt are good enough for Champions league. We need to find another Van Dyke or settle for cheaper. Soutar may not be any better or worse than Carter-Vickers but he is free and 6'4" compared to 5' 11" and we desperately need a left sided defender.

John Soutar might play on the left side of defence but he’s right footed the same as Starfelt.
Carter Vickers is 6 foot and Soutar is 6ft 2in.

If CCV is gping to cost the 'reported' £10M, I can't see us shelling that amount out for him.
At the same time I think we need to be aiming far higher than John Soutar.
We could do a lot worse than partner with a team in Scandinavia as their players have usually done well at Celtic.
