Ralston continues to live up to the hype and it's great to see, I think he could turn into a top top player for us.

However, i've seen a few posts on Twitter and a lot of Celtic fans are already cutting Ralstons run short "As soon as a left back is brought in Juranovic will go into Right Back and he'll be dropped"

Writing players off in anyway possible, it's terrible to read.

Juranovic is a classy player, who we got very cheap, why don't we sell him for a huge profit, and buy a decent left back to compete with Taylor.

{Ed007's Note - .......... I....... but..... eh..... hmmm

Ralston has been like a brilliant new signing and he will continue to get better.
I don’t think Juranovic can hit the bye line, the way Ralston does.
Ralston is strong as an Ox and is unstoppable at times.
I would still bring in a left back, which would make us strong in the fullback areas and give us good enough backups.
I remember thinking at the start of the season that our fullbacks were our weakest links, but not anymore.

I love Ralston's heart and determination but I still think he's limited. There are some games I'd start him (Hearts, Aberdeen etc. ) but when we are playing against 10 men behind the ball I don't think he is creative enough. Not taking anything away from the lad though. He absolutely deserves a place in the squad and his development this season has been fantastic to watch.

Ralston is by far the most improved player at Celtic since Ange arrived IMO.

He has heart and strength with his game improving all the time but he also has his limitations.

Juranovic for me is a far better player technically and the fact he can still do a job playing out of position, on the opposite side of the pitch say's it all. A bit like Danny McGrain had to do to get a game for Scotland back in the day.

I'd be far happier if we sign a LB who can go straight into the team and then we have two reliable options at RB from which to choose.

There's plenty of games to come so we need cover in every area of the pitch.

Years ago, when he broke through, I thought he had great potential and even imagined him forming a partnership with KT. However, his chances were sparse and sporadic; but now I think we are seeing a much more confident and experienced player and that must go down to Ange and his methods. Because we never saw anything like this under NL or indeed the past and present coaching staff?

Danny had to move across to let Sandy Jardine get a game Pedro, because Danny was the more gifted of the two he could adapt to play on the left?.

100% Stevie, not that I'm comparing anyone to the great Danny McGrain - what a player ?.

Totally agree OAB2, the bhoy has got the chance to show what he's got and taken it.

Ralston has done well and exceeded expectations this season but Juranovic is twice the player Ralston is.
As soon as we get a natural LB in then Juranovic should be moved back to his natural position.
Buzz mentioned that Juranovic can't hit the bye line like Ralston but it's hard for a natural right footed player to hit the byline and cross it with his left.

I was meaning if Juranovic was playing right back, I wouldn’t expect him to get to the bye line as often as Ralston does.
Juranovic doesn’t overlap as much and he prefers to swing balls into the box from deeper positions.
Ralston prefers to take his man on.

You know, the choices at RB is a good problem for big Ange to have.

Get a first team, ready to play LB signed in January and we'll be even stronger.

If he can add Maeda in the coming window and a little something special, possibly in the midfield, then we'll be out of sight this season.
