Daizen Maeda that Paul mentioned on the podcast the other week as a possible target for January has came out and said that he is aware of Celtic's interest.

Maeda’s burst of speed is frightening, he’s like a wee Duracell bunny.
He’s a good all rounder.
Maeda has scored 18 goals this season,7 with his right foot,6 with his left and 5 headers.
He current contract expires on January 31st 2024.

His pace is electric Buzz and his control (in the YouTube clips I watched) is very impressive.

If Maeda signs in January, Ange would need to consider playing a 3-5-2 formation with the players he would have available at our disposal.
Jullien or Welsh would be available to make up a back 3 and also extra cover for possible injuries.
A new left wing back and we would have a vey good team.
We’ve seen before C. V, how we blew everyone away when Celtic played this system.
It’s been mentioned that Ange has previously played 2 up front but I’m not sure in which formation.
It would be great for Ange to have a squad were he can rotate and have different options.

I'd agree Buzzbomb.
Celtic should almost always play with 2 up front, particularly at home.
The obvious exception is European games when we're playing against technically stronger opposition - then the personnel, set up and tactics should be tweaked.

Yes, we need to get the right player in here and have Scales as back up.
We've also got a few players who'll leave/ should leave over the next 2 windows;- I'm thinking, Barkas, Ajeti, Bolingoli, Bitton, Soro for starters.
