Good Morning,
After being very ill for a long time due to CV19 I now feel I'm back to 100% health. I just wanted to say thanks again to everyone who supported the charity football match to raise money for the NHS. Now since I have some time I've uploaded the thank you letter from Faye Knight on the money that was raised from everyone. We raised £2780 plus gift aid so well over £3000.
After the success of the event, I will be putting together another match very soon to raise money for another charity/ sickness close to my heart. Cancer. Everyone knows someone affected by cancer and any monies raised will help in trying to prevent this disease.
Hopefully, most of the people involved first time round will be up for round 2!

Well done Michael, your wife and family will be very proud of you.
I hung up my boots nearly 30 years ago but it will be good to come and be a spectator this time and meet a few of our guys from the site.

im up for round 2 mate hadn't kicked a ball in years and fitness was a joke was blowing out my arse after 5 mins with coming on as a sub then subbed myself off then back on and wanted off again but the full time whistle saved me that embarrassment haha will be getting fit this time.

@Michael good news you are recovering from this nasty C.V. and are feeling much better, but take it from someone further down the line in terms of recovering, this C.V. has a nasty habit of biting you on the bahookie when you think you have beat it. In my case the toll it took both physically and mentally was hard to deal with, stay strong and positive and with your own personal nurse in the house, hopefully you have beaten it quicker than myself.
