Apparently there's Twitter rumours that Strachan is lined up to replace Ange.

If this happens I'll be disgusted. His tenure started brilliantly but injuries have limited his options. Look at the bench we had on Sunday. No-one there that could have realistically changed the game.

What's Strachan going to do better? I have faith that Ange can do the job. But then he's trying to change the board's way of thinking. We see how that allegedely worked for Dom.

Is it possible to implement change? Dermott seems to want the club to be self sufficient. Which is admirable. We see how racking up debt goes over at the other side. But if the board's success is purrly tied into financial performance that is to the detriment of the football side. That same financial debt on the other side turned into football success.

Football as a business is unique, especially in Scotland. We are passionate but lack the financial rewards from the league. We demand success but are constrained financially. For every successful transfer story there are numerous failures.

This is a squad rebuilding year. It may be too much at one time to have a business restructuring year at the same time. But, for me, it's long overdue. The board have become narrow focused on financial performance. There is a way to balance both financial and football performance.

Not with this board, this way if thinking.

You never go back to an ex. Strachan is an ex and should remain so. We had some good times but the magic is gone.

?ox. he's here to rebuild a team that has been downsized since Rodgers left. All professionalism left with Rodgers. Ange inherited a shambles caused by Lawell the board and team Lennedy. He will have my full backing 100% through his rebuild. He knows already that folk and the MSM want him to fail badly which will spur him on. Injuries haven't helped with 2 main strikers out Captain out full backs out. The defence and cross balls into the box needs sorted out. If we improve on them with a fully fit team we will go from strength to strength.

I don’t believe the Celtic board will sack Ange.
If the rumour is true, it will be because Ange wants to leave.
He’s maybe not happy with the setup behind the scenes and he’s working with one hand tied behind his back.
It’s possible he was promised his own coaching staff, Director Of Football, Head Of Recruitment and the Chief Executive who brought him to the club has left after only 72 days because he was working with Dinosaur board members.
Last week he was given a Head of Sports Science colleague who was employed by Greenock Morton only 6 months ago, another cheap option.
Callum McGregor has recently signed a 5 year contract and Ange had a “massive influence” in his decision to commit to our club.
Also guys like Ryan Christie were impressed with Ange in his short time working with him and he’s convinced the Big man will bring success to the club.

Rumour is pish although I think Ange has realised what he's let himself in for working under iron fist Desmond.

Buzz Bomb - you took the words out of my mouth.
If Ange goes it will be HIS decision and probably down to the failures of the Board.

I always liked WGS and he gave us some great times while in charge. Would I have him back? I would not say no but they do say don't go back.

I think the Ange leaving rumour is just that, a rumour.

(mind you, if he did walk away, who is out there ready to come in? We saw how that shambles worked previously)

I wouldn't put anything by that shower.

Funny how these destructive rumours manifest during difficult periods and bad results. A month ago when we had all the players fit he was being talked about in the same sentence as Guardiola.

Ange is here for the rebuild lads. Give it time.

Rebuild excuse doesn't wash with me. Rebuild doesn't mean drop 11 points in 7 games at start of season.

We are in a worse position this season with a better team, compared to last season.

Had good enough players available to change shape against Livingston and Dundee United to win both games.

Players im talking about likes of Biton and Shaw would walk into any team outside old firm in spfl.

If Ange can't see that 4-3-3 doesn't work against teams that play 5 in midfield, then he certainly is not man for the job.

@dnn38
What you just said is why it's a rebuild job. Ange is new give him time.
