Celtic are away to Betis and then away to Livingston.
Then after Celtic play in Hungary, we then come back to Dundee away.
Sevco are away to Hearts after their last group game away to Lyon in December.

Guys look at our fixtures in October and November we are on our travels both in Scotland and Europe a difficult period to overcome.

Your right Tim, it’s a difficult period.
Over a 4 week period Celtic have to travel to Edinburgh, Hungary, Dundee, Dingwall and then Germany.
Sandwiched in between those games is one home game in Glasgow.

{Ed007's Note - I don't buy all that about travelling, Buzz what would people do if we ever joined the Pub League and had to travel to London and Southampton? Glasgow to Dingwall is about 180 miles, London to Newcastle is about 280, Manchester to London is 208 miles and Newcastle to Brighton is about 290 miles, you never hear fans from England even talk about it.
Nipping along the 47 miles on the M8 to Edinburgh doesn't really register does it?}

Add to that the Thursday - Sunday effect and probabilty of early KO's for SLY television? It will be a big task for the new squad.

{Ed007's Note - What difference is there in playing Wednesday night and then a Saturday to playing Thursday night and then on the Sunday?}

You, my friend (excuse me if you think I am being too presumptive) are perhaps too logical. You could stifle debate by being that logical. However I agree with you. We shouldn’t make so much of the travelling element in this day and age. It goes with European qualification. We should just be grateful we got there.
Ps. I have signed in again after more than a year because I love the way the new manager has set up the team to play. Just like the old days I hope 🥂.

{Ed007's Note - Thanks mate and welcome back.}

The difficult period was more to do with 5 away games out of 6 in the space of a month.
It was great when Celtic had 5 home games in a row recently because we came away with 5 victories and it was a chance to build confidence among the players.
I agree travelling to Dundee after a game in Hungary isn’t a big deal but I still think there would be less chance of dropping points if the game was at Celtic Park.
There will be difficult periods Celtic need to deal with throughout the season and October and November will be a good challenge for the Celtic squad.

{Ed007's Note - 👍

Thats the reason we have a squad lads. Yes it's a tough list of games but if we have a lot of away games there is going to be a spell where we have a lot if home games close together.
