Ange has failed every major test so far. Why he played Edouard through the middle I'll never know. We need another CB in today because Starfelt is hopeless. I haven't seen him have a good game yet.
Giakoumakis and Jota are cracking signings. Hopefully Christie and Edouard leave today!

Did we not qualify for the Europa League Groups stages? at the beginning of the season no one expected us to get anywhere in Europe and everyone was all but writing the season off as we were all told it would take a year before we seen the changes Ange would bring take effect.
I bet it doesn't take Ange 3 years to win his 1st trophy

Ange got us through into the Europa league beating arguably the second best team in Holland and has revitalised the club in 2 and a half months. Have a day off.

Seeing off AZ was a great result don't get me wrong however we were very lucky to get past them let's be honest. How they never scored at Parkhead is a wonder. The Europa League wasn't the objective though was it?

You need luck in football we got that against AZ. We have been on the wrong end of a lot of bad luck in these ties. So all good.

Think we need to give the new manager and this assembled team much more time before we press the alarm button or be over-critical.
I agree AZ had more of the possession and passed through us too often for my liking, but as the score-line says, we scored 3 times - from open play - while their goals were a huge goalie mistake and an OG. Over both games I would also add that Hart was never overworked and possibly had less saves than their 'keeper?
Still not yet into September and loads to play for guys.

I have seen Giakoumakis many times infact when the Eredivisie has been on Premier, He's a goal machine with an aerial threat aswell. I admit I had to youtube Jota, a bag of tricks and will certainly open up space and create chances.

With the state the club was in when we drew AZ I was expecting the worst but we deservedly got through that tie. Starfelt didn't put a foot wrong on Sunday and was cracking 2nd half against AZ too, he's been wrongfully blamed for Sevcos goal as Welsh was nowhere to be seen when he's meant to be marking Helander.

Starfelt dives in far too much, how many times did the Sevco players turn him? He is also terrified when he has the ball even when there is no opposition near him. Jury will be out for a while on him but your right he wasn't to blame for the goal.

You said we where lucky. Don't you think they where even luckier at Parkhead as it should have been a cricket score. We also missed a few sitters on the away game. You are being unfair as to how well we played and the tempo we played at, our defence has improved and we gifted them two goals they never done more than that. anges tactics which where spot on.
I told a mate a Celtic fan who was like youself. I told him if the first game was an away tie. The we win the home tie 2 0 it would have been superb. The game is home and away if you miss goals or don't score enough you lose the game.
