I think looking back on yesterday ange would've learned a lot about his formation and style of play. It's great watching christie, Turnbull, rogic etc run riot against lesser teams but like yesterday and midweek these guys especially need to do the dirty side of the game aswell. Every time we play that mob those 3 especially go missing. Now I'm no saying they're bad players, but they need to work harder in those type of games rather than hide. Mcgregor can't do it all in there. We all know what's needed in terms of signings and yesterday again highlighted it. A LW, LB, ST and CB for me is imperative. We'd nothing on that bench yesterday that could make a massive difference. Abada looked done after an hour but no replacement as Forrest was injured. Ralston who was superb again I felt tired and could've been subbed but again due to our frailties at LB his natural replacement was playing there. Christie on the left could've been subbed at half time had we a natural LW in the squad, again nothing on the bench to change that, and with all his ability and he's got it in abundance turnbull could've been aff at halftime, the rogic sub could've and should've been made earlier, not as soon as they scored. All that said ange is only in the door 5 mins and his signings in the main have definitely improved us and with hopefully more to come in before tomorrow night we've definitely got a vastly improved team on anything we witnessed last season's.

Ange would have learnt nothing. He's a one trick pony. Couldn't change his socks never mind a formation.

Think it's a bit early to write the boy off after 8 games, agree he baffles me sometimes can't get how callum is supposed to play in there himself especially against sevco who are strong and btw calkum was outstanding, abada came off in the 86th min why he was doing nothing not even helping the excellent ralston out, eddy should have been off at half time imo and Christie was having one of those days only he can have, but am still with the big fella a said before game we shouldn't get too high if we win and we shouldn't turn on the manager if we lose, but your still allowed an opinion on what you see.

I was very frustrated at how long it took him to see the problems, the flaws and the under-performers before doing something about it.
Otherwise, I am really hoping he is learning lessons from some very inconsistent performances - especially away from home and once this 'window' is closed, we have a squad a lot stronger than yesterday?

Auf188, think you're being a bit harsh here, the difference he has made in 10 weeks has been quite incredible really considering the overhaul that was required. His hands were tied with injuries as well and this was highlighted by the strength of the bench. If Jamesy was fit, the Kyogo goes through the middle and Ange admitted he'd have preferred this. If Mccarthy was fit, a lot more dig is available in midfield and more support offered to Calmac. We will make a few signings before the window closes to help support the group however, for me, this was always going to be a two year job as the size of the overhaul is massive. Only four games into the league and the difference in the team is night and day already. Nothing handed out in August, they are only 3 points ahead and likely to lose players instead of buy. I still fully believe in Ange and believe we can win it this year even though I originally thought it might take two.

well said matty its the usual doomsday stuff the guy is 8 weeks into his project he inherited a dreadful squad that mob are 4 year into there's 2 players for everything position i tell youse something if this was ange 4th season at us he would have more than 1 trophy.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but to slate ange after a month or so in the job given the shambles left from Lennons tenure I thinks unreal. Nothing Rangers done yesterday gave me the fear, what lacked more than anything yesterday for me was the non existence of Turnbull and christie in that midfield…… mcgregor can’t do it himself and I’m sick of watching us play that mob carrying passengers…… I’m guessing christie will be off but turnbull really needs to up it in games like midweeks and yesterday’s.

He could have put soro on earlier to give callum a hand for starters, eddy off and kyogo through middle, abada off and put Montgomery out wide and Christie to right, but its OK after the event,
